Okonomiyaki and Gyoza are becoming a lot more famous overseas. Okonomiyaki is a Japanese-style savory pancake. “Okonomi” means “As-you-like-it” and “Yaki” means to “cook/stir-fry/grill”. In this class, we will make a Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki which has a layer of vegetables, dried ingredients, pork and egg noodles. It’s so much fun to flip several times with using special kitchen tools. Gyoza is a dumpling with minced pork and vegetable stuffing. You will learn the secrets how to make crispy Gyoza. Enjoy Okonomiyaki and Gyoza!

Great intimate cooking class! Was in a cute part of the city, and our host was super sweet! She showed us how to make great ramen and gyoza in a fun way. Highly recommend to any Tokyo travelers!

We had an awesome time as a family cooking together at Yuca's Japanese cooking class in her own home. The class was organised and Yuca was warm and friendly, who was passionate about cooking. Her instructions were easy to understand and step by step. We will definitely make the gyoza and okonomiyaki when we get home as the ingredients used to make these are so versatile and tasty. Would definitely recommend this to all types of cooks!

We had a wonderful time at Yuca’s cooking class! She is so warm and friendly, and we learned how to make delicious gyoza and ramen. My 10 year old son also participated in the class and he loved it. The class is in Yuca’s home, in a residential neighborhood, so that was a fun aspect as well.
Don’t leave Japan without visiting YUCa’s kitchen!

Thank you so much for this fun, delicious and just wonderful day! Yuca welcomed us very warmly in her cooking studio and gave us the feeling of diving not only in the Japanese world of cooking but also gave us a feeling of experiencing the authentic Japanese life. We had so much fun learning, preparing food and cooking our first gyoza and okonomiyaki together with Yuca. She is very kind, friendly, enthusiastic of her work and fun, answered all of our questions not only related to the recipes and has just a great style of teaching! Finally, we really enjoyed the food we just prepared! Yuca-san, arigato gozaimashita! We will continue cooking Japanese food and we will be very happy to recreate the food once we are back home! It was so fun. Yuca is super nice and speaks very good English. I felt very comfortable in the environment, and learned a lot about Japanese cooking and the end results were DELICIOUS. I would rate this class a 10 out of 10!
