5.00We visited Saqqara, saw the Ramses II statue, and spent time in a rural village surrounded by a palm tree forest. There, we had lunch at a beautifully curated, privately owned local farm. We enjoyed excellent traditional Egyptian food and drinks, and were shown how to make ceramics, Egyptian tea, and bread. Afterwards, we were taken by a mule-drawn carriage into the desert, where we enjoyed a stunning landscape with pyramids in the distance. It was an excellent experience and a true taste of local culture. Thank you, Alma Egypt Tours, for such a memorable day.
