Sam was the best. This was such a great way to experience the city, get a lay of the land, and try a bit of everything. The food was incredible and we learned some history too.

Maude was fabulous. Fun and knowledgeable. She loves her city and all it has to offer. Out group was diverse and she made us all feel welcome. Don’t eat before this tour. You will be full! It offered a wonderful variety of local cuisine. Perfect!!

We walked an easy loop around the downtown area stopping to sample delicious, small plates of traditional and innovative locally sourced dishes. Many thanks to Marie for a great experience. She provided great history and context for the places and food. We loved our tour- well worth it!

Our tour guide, Guy, was very nice and it was great meeting a terrific group of people but I thought the tour had opportunities for improvement. First, I think it is mid-labeled. It is really a walking history tour with some food thrown in. We went to 5 different places but spent a lot of time outdoors being given history on Old Quebec. That’s fine but not what we signed up for. I would rather have stayed at the restaurants a little longer and learned about the history of the food we were trying and why it is important to Quebec. We got very little of that. My second issue was with the format of the tour given the extreme cold temperatures we faced. It was about 6 degrees F outside, feeling like -5 and we were outside a lot during the tour. I expected to walk from restaurant to restaurant which was fine but not to stand out in the cold for so long. And there did not seem to be flexibility to adjust to the temperature. No hot drinks were offered at our stops and although we were in mostly empty restaurants at that time of day we were rushed through and back outside. Just made for less enjoyable conditions. Good food, nice places we went to but could have benefitted from a few improvements to truly be a 5 star experience.
