It’s a fun experience a little challenging with the heat but learning history and the beautiful sights make it worth it. Our tour guide Antonio was FANTASTIC!!

Our tour guide Melanie was amazing! She welcomed all of us as family! She was a wealth of knowledge! I would definitely recommend this tour to friends. It's one thing to walk the streets, but its a whole other level when someone can bring those streets alive.

It was patently clear that our guide, Antonio was not a fan of "Americans" as he made sure to mention some disparaging remark at every stop we made. He was quite difficult to understand and didn't relay information in a manner that engaged his audience at all. When we booked - there was an itinerary of the tour, showing each stop we'd make, how long we'd spend at each etc. There were unfortunately, a few stops that we didn't actually make. Additionally, it'd have been lovely if a stop to pop inside the coolness of the Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista were allowed, or even the opportunity to buy a coffee or gelato at one of the MANY quaint storefronts. All told, I feel that we'd have had a better experience researching Old San Juan ourselves and making our own way around to see the most relevant buildings, roadways and architectural styles throughout the city. Our group was small, only 4 couples and by the end of almost 3 hours, only one couple remained - the rest of us dropped away to explore ourselves. I wouldn't recommend this particular tour.

I had a great time on this walking tour, minus the weather but it was worth it. I like the history I learn from this city. Our tour guy Antonio was amazing! We learn alot from him, he gave alot of knowledge and information about Old San Juan. I definitely recommend this tour!

Very dry. Totally focused on architecture, start to finish. Not much about recent culture or current culture. The reason I rated 1 star is Antonio left me and another guest behind standing curbside and never looked back. We were stop by the police to let cars go through and by the time the police let us cross street our group was out of sight. We went to the church our next stop but they were not to be found. Antonio throughout the day never looked to see if the group was together so I was not surprised that we got separated and he marched on. My spouse waited for me at church together we could not located the group of 7. We finally just went to El Morro ourselves and waited there for the tour group to arrive. Antonio never acknowledged us. Never acknowledged he had lost 2 of us. Never asked what happened. Dan who was separated from group with me did not to go on to El Morro. Shame on Antonio. I’ve travelled all over the world and have never had this happen to me or anyone else in a group that I’ve been in. I was truly astounded as was my husband. I was literally left standing on corner watching the group walk away into oblivion.

Our guide gave too much information and was oblivious to the group. Final cap was our guide left the 3 of us at a crosswalk and we could never find him again.
