What To Expect
Old San Juan
Who is this experience for? Initially the experience was created to bring together solo travelers in a safe and fun environment and gradually it has evolved into a very diverse and unique mix of people from all corners of life - from bachelorette parties to families. Wear comfortable shoes - the tour comes with 2 small walks of around 5-7 minutes from the top of the old city all the way to the bottom. Is there food? YES! The first bar serves Puerto Rican tapas and the third bar offers a late mixed menu.
Calle San Sebastian
Calle San Sebastian is a lively strip of bars and restaurants. Transportation to the meeting point is easy - you can use Uber or try a scooter from the from the Condado, Ocean Park, Miramar, or Santurce area. The meeting point is a 15 min walk from the scooter station in Old San Juan. We can also arrange transportation for groups 8 + only with at least 3 days of prior notification. If you choose to drive, the nearest parking at El totem ( on Apple or Google maps.

5.00The San Juan bar crawl was so much fun! Our host Amanda was five stars, and she took care of everyone! As a solo traveler, it was so nice to meet a bunch of people who were engaging and there to have a good time. I highly recommend going on the bar crawl if you wanna have a good time!!!

5.00So much fun! Great way to see the bar scene in old San Juan and connnect with others in the group. Each bar was close to the other so not much walking and you had the right amount of time at each. Javi (?) our guide was informative and kept the party going.

1.00I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just bored. This “bar crawl” consists of 3 bars in the same street, less than 50 yards from one another lol. You’re at the first bar from 7:30-8:30 just waiting on late comers to arrive. Then you walk 1 minute up the street to the next bar that has unlimited open bar for 45 minutes but the drinks were trash! No taste, flavor. Watery. But good music. Then you walk 30 seconds across the street for a free shot and the end of crawl. Super lame. Host really didn’t host. Walked us in to each place then was lost until it was time to go. Overall seemed like a teen frat party. I wouldn’t pay to do it again. They really didn’t even know who was with the group or not. Anyone could have walked in and got free drinks. Needs to be more organized, better drinks and maybe more bars. Don’t waste your money.

2.00This experience is nothing like the itinerary describes it. Supposedly we meet at one bar, then casually make our way down the street to other bars. Let's start: Date of Experience: Tuesday, 31 March 2026 Pros: We did get a free drink and/or free shot at the bars. However, definitely bottom shelf alcohol. You can purchase top shelf alcohol on your own at the bar. The vibe/music was awesome. Our guide, Yaya (short version of his name) seemed friendly enough. We did meet a couple of really good people and had fun talking and dancing with them. At the third bar we went to we got a Hooka setup. That was very nice. However, our guide was rushing us to leave so he could deliver us to the final place and be done with us for the night. I felt like he should have just left us there especially since we ONLY walked across the street to the next place. Hooka is not cheap and we left it to appease him. We ordered food at the last bar/restaurant and it was delicious. I do not recall the name. Cons: We never left the area and all 4 bars were literally next door to each other or across the street from each other. Per the itinerary "wear comfortable shoes - the tour comes with 2 small walks around 5-7 minutes from the top of the old city all the way to the bottom." This was NOT TRUE. The itinerary also states "the first bar serves Puerto Rican tapas." Another LIE. First of all the first bar was so crowded (not a complaint) all they could do was serve drinks to the lines of people waiting to order. The itinerary states, " Old San Juan, Calle del Cristo, Calle San Sebastian" as places we would visit bars. Again, the location we were at, we never left the 25 -50 foot radius, as the four bars were next door to each other or literally across the street. Would I do this again? Probably not because it was too far off from the description on Viator. Would I recommend it to others? Only if they corrected the itinerary and If it is your first time in Puerto Rico, yes I recommend it. If you have been to Puerto Rico before just go to the areas listed on the itinerary and you will find the bars/party. To be clear, There was nothing wrong with the bars being so close to each other other than it was NOT what was advertised and expected from customers who purchased this bar crawl. Therefore, false advertising. Bottom Line: I had a good time.

1.00Disappointed. Ive been to several pub crawls and they didn't help u get to know each other or stick around to make sure we're carrying on or making sure we're safe. It was busy, of course but a little effort would go a long way = )
