We had a great walking tour with Linda. We started off at the Fairmont Peace Hotel and then had a stroll along the Bund, all the while Linda was giving us great information about the area and some of the history of the various buildings that we could see on both sides of the river. Linda was chatty and fun, and we felt very comfortable with her as she guide us on the tour. We went from there to Yuan Gardens and saw some beautiful historic architecture. There was a lot to take in and we are a neural diverse family and she was able to adapt our tour to suit us. We opted to not continue on with the Tea ceremony and tasting as we were feeling quite overloaded and had to reassure Linda that we were loving the tour and her guidance, but for our particular family, it was challenging with the large amounts of sensory input. What was great, was that she was very understanding of this, and she also took loads of great photos of us and was very informative. We exited the gardens and she took us through the Shanghai, old town, which, if we had been up to it, she would’ve given us a guided tour through as well, but in our case, we chose to conclude the tour there. We had a wonderful morning with her and highly recommend her and her company if you are looking for a fun and informative walking tour in Shanghai.
