Struggled to find rep when came oof ship. Viator sign obscured. Coach trip fine. Useful information. Walk to glacier was lovely. No support from rep who went ahead. Got back to coach park in pouring rain. No signage on coach. Asked driver if correct coach. Very rude and unprofessional Great shame as very impressed with previous Viator trips but suppose only as good as the local companies they are using and the individuals on the day.

Great trip. Organized and on time. Great communication ahead of the trip. The guide was great. Very informative. The driver was a good driver but he smoked every time we stopped. Then he’d get back on the bus and the bus smelled horrible of cigarette smoke.

This is a WONDERFUL excursion! They met us right at the cruise dock. The bus was very nice and Alex & Alex (Guide & Driver) were excellent! The views to and from the glacier were stunning. The views and walk to the glacier were even better! There are also free shuttles to take you most of the way to the lake at the base of the glacier from the parking area if you can't or don't want to walk there. It is about a 45 minute walk and is easy/moderate in intensity. This leaves you enough time to have a leisurely walk, time at the lake, leisurely walk back and time for shopping/eating at the shops. We stopped at a beautiful lake on the way back. I highly recommend this company and this tour!

Until 2007 you could walk close to (but not on) the glacier. Since then the glacier has retreated so that you can only get 300 feet from it. You don't see the blue color often seen in photos of glaciers. This excursion was really just a shuttle from the cruise port to the parking lot. I had to walk 45 minutes to the lake where I was 300 feet from the glacier. I spent 15 minutes there and then had to turn around and walk back to catch the bus.

The views on this excursion were the highlight of our visit to Norway. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and, more importantly, friendly and personable. Walking to the glacier from the coach park is the best way to visit, as it takes in the breathtaking views along the way. We would certainly recommend this tour.

The climb should be considered as strenuous as opposed to moderate but despite this the experience should not be missed. Use the motorised troll carts if not considered to be fit. Spectacular views all way up.

Beautiful views along the hike to the glacier. You don’t actually get to the glacier but have the opportunity to take great pictures of it. The hike is slightly strenuous, so be prepared to walk up some stairs and up small hills. Well worth the price paid!

There was little indication of tour operator when we first left the ship. We asked a number of other tours and eventually found them by chance - look out for YELLOW fleeces! Otherwise a good trip well presented.

A great little trip. We were picked up at the Cruise terminal. The guide was splendid on their debut trip.
