Experience unspoiled beauty during this half-day excursion to the Briksdal Glacier. You will depart from Olden by bus and drive through the valley, passing the 'little red church,' the Olden Lake, colorful farms and numerous waterfalls. Once you arrive at the Briksdal Inn, a beautiful track surrounded by waterfalls and mountains will lead you to the viewpoint at the glacier lake, from where you will be able to enjoy this amazing natural treasure. You can also rent a 'troll car' if you cannot or prefer not to walk the glacier.

5.00Excellent trip, did the troll car, great value. You can walk it but 45 mins up hill so Unless you are very fit its a tough climb.

5.00The pickup point is right next to the cruise terminal. The 40 minute bus journey to the glacier has some fantastic scenery with the guide giving some interesting facts about the history of the area. We had also booked the troll car experience, so we had to hang about for over an hour before it was time to board the cars to the glacier, this was not ideal as it was cold and damp. The troll ride was fun , then a 15/20 minute walk to the glacier. The views and scenery are amazing. I would recommend you don’t miss this excursion when visiting Olden.
Must be able to walk up hill and steps. Not much flat areas.

3.00I think you should know this if for people who are in good shape for an extensive walk. The exertion level says 2-3. Consider it to be 3 or 3 plus. It rained most of the walk on the day we went so that had its own challenges. Our tour guide was wonderful and kept checking on the progress of the entire group and helped with pictures.
