Experience unspoiled beauty during this half-day excursion to the Briksdal Glacier. You will depart from Olden by bus and drive through the valley, passing the 'little red church,' the Olden Lake, colorful farms and numerous waterfalls. Once you arrive at the Briksdal Inn, a beautiful track surrounded by waterfalls and mountains will lead you to the viewpoint at the glacier lake, from where you will be able to enjoy this amazing natural treasure. You can also rent a 'troll car' if you cannot or prefer not to walk the glacier.

Super worth it. Big bus but done well. Keep going it’s worth it to the lake . Waterfall views beautiful . Singer singing Elvis tunes when we got back to the bottom.

If you go on a cruise book the excursions with them. By ship they cost more and they are very good. The guide Giuseppe was kind and very prepared.

Excellent trip, did the troll car, great value. You can walk it but 45 mins up hill so Unless you are very fit its a tough climb.

The pickup point is right next to the cruise terminal. The 40 minute bus journey to the glacier has some fantastic scenery with the guide giving some interesting facts about the history of the area. We had also booked the troll car experience, so we had to hang about for over an hour before it was time to board the cars to the glacier, this was not ideal as it was cold and damp. The troll ride was fun , then a 15/20 minute walk to the glacier. The views and scenery are amazing. I would recommend you don’t miss this excursion when visiting Olden.
Must be able to walk up hill and steps. Not much flat areas.

I think you should know this if for people who are in good shape for an extensive walk. The exertion level says 2-3. Consider it to be 3 or 3 plus. It rained most of the walk on the day we went so that had its own challenges. Our tour guide was wonderful and kept checking on the progress of the entire group and helped with pictures.

Very well run tour, amazing views from the bus all the way to the glacial lake! Our tour guide provided a splendid commentary along our route describing the history of the local area and set the scene for what we were about to witness. Highly recommend!

This was absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful scenery and an incredible experience. The coach driver and tour guide were great and we had plenty of time to enjoy the views and take some photos.

Our excursion was supposed to start from Nordfjordeid, but due to the weather we couldn't dock there. We were convinced that this would be the end of our trip, but got the great news that Norway Excursions moved its starting point together with our docking point to Olden. We had the very nice and considerate Gabriel as our guide who waited for people who didn't follow, changed his plan to what other people wanted and even got cake for the people that failed to do so themselves. He put all his effort in giving us as great a time as possible. 5 stars for this guy! And Billy, the bus driver, who got us safe to every stop.
