Our guide was excellent! We chose this over the more expensive shore excursions available from our cruise. It worked out really well. We loved chatting with our driver, Stathis. He was so nice, shared interesting information, and knew exactly what would be fun for us. He watched the time and made sure he brought us back in time to shop a little before embarking upon the boat again.

We had the absolute pleasure of being guided by Tina during our visit to Olympia, and we cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the very beginning, Tina was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Her depth of knowledge was truly impressive — not only did she provide detailed insight into the ancient ruins and the history of Olympia, but she also enriched our tour with fascinating facts about Greek culture, mythology, and modern life in Greece. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and perfectly paced, making the experience both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Tina’s passion for her country and her profession was evident throughout the tour. She was patient in answering all our questions and tailored the experience to suit our interests, which made the day feel personal and special. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Olympia. With Tina as your guide, you’re guaranteed an experience that is informative, memorable, and genuinely enriching. Thank you, Tina, for a wonderful day we won’t forget!

First of all, I'm serious about requesting the driver (Costas) and tour guide (Tina) by name. They were waiting right where they said they'd be with our name on a large sign. Tina had communicated with us ahead of time to make sure we could find her, and it was very easy. Our van was clean, new, comfortable, spacious, with great AC, and Costas did everything possible to reduce our walking distance on a very hot day. He is a safe driver, friendly and helpful. Tina is a born teacher. She brought visuals to teach us the lay of the land during the drive to the Temple of Zeus, so by the time we got there we knew the salient points and where to go. It is a magical place and worth the effort, especially since it also includes the original site of the Olympics. The museum on site exceeded all expectations with a surprisingly large collection of artifacts from everyday utensils and pottery to massive statues and so much more. We could have easily spent hours there. After this part of the tour, we went to Klio's Honey Farm and were dazzled by the serenity of the place and the charm of Klio who delivered the most interesting talk and demonstrations in addition to providing delicious refreshments. The farm has been in their family for generations, and we were thrilled to meet her mother as well. You'll see quince, walnut, and fig trees and lovely views. Tina was the best tour guide and prepared us for every facet of the tours and visits. She and Costas adjusted everything to our pace, and there was even plenty of time to go to the beach and then do some shopping before we headed back to our cruise. We have been to many places on this trip, but our day in Olympia was by far the best. A fond memory was the path we walked to Klio's... a friendly dog behind a fence came over to say hello and give us love. For those of us whose dogs are at home while we travel, this was an unexpected bonus. You will see cats and dogs in Greece, all lovely, but this dog was extra special. Cream-colored, on the small side, and she reached her paws through the fence to say hello, wagging her tail enthusiastically the whole time. It was our best day in Greece!
