5.00Our guide, Thierry, was great! He was very knowledgeable and interesting. He also made our visit personal by relating to our family experiences in the Normandy area. It was a long day but very worthwhile. I would only point out that I thought it was a private tour for our party of five, but there was another family of five who were with us. It was not a problem but was unexpected.

5.00Our guide, Thierry, was outstanding. His knowledge of the history of Normandie and WWII was incredible. He answered all of our questions about the Allied invasion, the state of the combatants at the time, and the Zeitgeist of the time. We attended a master class. The first half of the tour was about what happened with the American invasion on Omaha Beach while the second half brought life the events of the Band of Brother movie.
