Excellent tour guide, Louie who had a vast knowledge of the Nornamdy area. Good pace so we were not overwhelmed, but quick enough so we could see all the sites. The Band of Brothers tour was unique since we had just viewed the series. I would recomment this tour group and Louie B as a guide!

Excellent tour. Our guide, Oliver, was very knowledgeable and well spoken. He had excellent tips for lunch. He is also an impeccable driver. The van was well maintained and comfortable. The sites were all excellent and matched our expectations.

Incredible tour!! Suggest that you take this day 1 in Normandy so that you can determine where you would want to go for the rest of your trip. There is so much to see and do and most folks that we talked to spent 4 days in the area (so did we). The tour was 10 hours and we saw a lot!! There was not a question that our guide could not answer. He was so passionate and informative about every place that he took us to. We highly recommend this tour!

My wife’s siblings were visiting Paris and the group wanted to visit Normandy. My father-in-law and his brother both served in WWII, the brother coming through Normandy in time to be captured during the Battle of the Bulge. So while the family did not participate in the actual landing itself, many of my wife’s family were intensely interested in the tour. We’re a family of nine people and so organizing a day trip from Paris to Normandy and back is, by comparison to D-Day, a minor logistical challenge. I am grateful for the Overlord Tour operators, because they walked me through all the details and logistics to set up a train to Normandy We arrived in Bayeux by TGV (another thing that everyone wanted to try) and were met by Thierry B. Thierry is a most gracious host, and is extremely knowledgeable about the actions that took place during D-Day. Thierry asked us about grandpa and his brother, and offered to adjust some of the places we would visit to see where they had walked. We covered everything mentioned on the website guide: Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the American Cemetery, Sainte-Mere-Eglise, La Fière - and what was really cool, the La Colombière Hospital. That was a story we had not heard before. Lunch was at a local restaurant and was quite good. An opportunity to taste local Normand cuisine. Overall, everyone was very happy with the tour and with Thierry. We highly recommend this tour and tour operator. 5 stars.

Stephen led us on an incredible tour of Normandy and surrounding areas. It felt like Stephen was a scholar on the subject, effortlessly answering our questions and seamlessly adjusting our tour as light rain moved in. I want to go back and I'd request Stephen in a heartbeat. My wife and I were part of a tour of five. Stephen was attentive, asking if we wanted a bite to eat and a coffee when we got off the early morning train (yes!). Thankful for Overland Tours. A powerful trip that lives on thanks to thier reverence, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the subject. We took the early train from Paris and returned at the end of the day, arriving back in Paris around 9:30- long day, but worth it!

I highly recommend the Band of Brothers tour. This tour exceeded my expectations. Being fairly knowledgeable regarding the activities on D-Day our guide Remy expanded that knowledge set continually throughout the day with granular detail. We were impressed not only by his knowledge but also his delivery and passion on the events of that significant day including those important days that followed. Thank you Remy for a memorable day.

Overlord could not have been better. I began planning this trip in February 2025. I reached out by telephone and email multiple times with multiple questions. The email responses were always prompt and addressed my questions. They were also polite. When it came time to do the trip in October 2025 our guide, Ollie, promptly picked us up with a clean van and a well-planned itinerary. There are multiple itineraries, our group is from the United States so we chose Omaha Beach and Utah Beach and the band of Brothers tour. I tend to go for the bargain and candidly I did not shop around that hard but €1500 for eight people for two full days seemed pretty good. We could have gone to the various sites on our own in a rental vehicle but then we would not have had the benefit of Ollie. Ollie was an encyclopedia of information on the second world war as it related to the Normandy invasion. He knew a fair amount beyond that. He was constantly but not at all overbearing, giving us facts, context, back stories. He knew his topic extremely well, if he didn't know, he would find out. He showed us a decent lunch spot. You get the insiders version if you go with Overlord. Besides factual knowledge, he had a great personality, I very much enjoyed his Belgian French accent, he had a droll sense of humor. He also went above and beyond giving us extra help outside of the tour. We met him for drinks after the tour because even though this was a business transaction, the relationship developed into a great business transaction. I give overlord and Ollie the highest marks.

Our full-day tour was both educational and fun. Guillaume was friendly and knowledgeable, and pointed out interesting facts which we had not known before. The only improvement I would ask of Overlord Tours is to update their instructions where to meet. Describing the meeting place as street side of the Villa Lara Hotel would have been easier than the walking directions provided. Once that small confusion was resolved it was very good day.

Luic was our tour guide on the full day tour that followed in the steps of Easy Company. Luic was extremely knowledgeable on the strategies and fighting that occurred, but also presented a very thoughtful human side to the tour. He made sure we arrived at the American Cemetery in time for Taps and it was very moving. We were not able to visit Utah Beach due to the rain a few days prior, but we had a very memorable experience. If you have a chance to visit Bayeux, an Overlord Tour will make you to realize how lucky anyone was to survive D-Day and how grateful we should always be to those who did not come home.

Bonjour! We (my wife, son and I) did the Band of Brothers Tour on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and it was FABULOUS. Antoine was our guide, and he was a true Rockstar. Knowledgeable, fun, funny, insightful, passionate - he was superb. The nine hour tour ended up being ten and a half hours, and it was magical. The time flew by. He knew everything about every place we visited. I can't sing his praises loudly enough. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. ALBI
