The tour was very well organized and the guide very competent. We visited two of the villages. The first village was quite crowded, but when you got off the main path, there were also quiet places. The old houses are really beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. We certainly saw a lot during the bus ride, which takes about 1 hour from Kanazawa. Our tour also included a lunch that was very delicious. Special requests - vegetarian - were taken into consideration. For us, the trip was definitely worth it.

Excellent day trip, both sites were interesting and there was plenty of time to explore. The lunch was lovely. The day ran like clockwork.

This tour was very well organised and we were always kept informed of the itinerary, arrivals and departure times. There was a driver, a tour leader and an English interpreter who’d were all super friendly and helpful. We were given recommendations of what to see at both stops and estimated times for long each would take. Lunch was a traditional meal with multiple courses all served together. What would have improved the tour even more would be more/any historic and cultural information about the region and the people to get an understanding of the area and what we were seeing.

Tour was booked at the last minute. Absolutely wonderful and worth every cent. Exactly what we wanted - plenty of time to browse around and choose what you like to see not what a guide wants you to see.

Tour guide did a fantastic job giving out information about the local area (in English as well as Japanese). Locations are stunning and we had a good amount of time in each place to thoroughly look around. The food for lunch was nice and presented well. Well worth it!
