5.00Our Kampala city tour was an unforgettable experience, combining history, culture, and the vibrancy of daily life in Uganda’s capital. The highlight of the tour was visiting the National Mosque, where we climbed to the top of the minaret. The panoramic views of Kampala from there were simply spectacular, offering a unique perspective of the city’s sprawling hills and landmarks. It was both humbling and breathtaking. Next, we dove into the hustle and bustle of Owino Market. The energy was electrifying, with traders selling everything from clothing to electronics. It was fascinating to see the dynamic marketplace and interact with the friendly vendors. We also explored Nakasero Vegetable Market, a colorful haven of fresh produce and local spices. The vibrant stalls and the diverse array of fruits, vegetables, and herbs were a feast for the senses. The market provided a wonderful glimpse into Uganda's agricultural richness. Our guide, Vivian, truly made the experience memorable. Her deep knowledge of Kampala’s history and culture, paired with her engaging storytelling, made the tour both fun and educative. She had a way of bringing every stop to life, ensuring we were entertained while learning about the city’s rich heritage. If you’re visiting Kampala, this tour is a must!
