What To Expect
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Enjoy a private transport durging whole time of the trip. You are picking up directly from your hotel in Kraków and go to Auschwitz-Birkenau museum in luxury Mercedes-Benz car. When you arrive to the museum, you will have 15-20 minutes free time before tour started. Entering the museum you will walk through security control. Driver accompanies you until you meet the guide and helps you collect your headphones and receiver for hearing everything what guide gonna say during the tour. Sightseeing is divided into two parts: first with Auschwitz-I camp and then 3,5km away Auschwitz-II Birkenau. Of course your chauffeur will be at your disposal all the time. Getting to know those German Nazi crimes takes around 3 hours (Auschwitz-I around 2h, Auschwitz-II Birkenau around 1h). After first part of the tour in Auschwitz-I you will have another 15-20 minutes break and then driver takes to Auschwitz-II Birkenau for second part of your visit.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
When you finish your visit of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps, your driver takes to the Salt Mine - around 1,5h way. After arrival to this unique place you will have 15-20 minutes free time before tour started. Entering Salt Mine you collect your headphones and receiver, the same as in Auschwitz. Sightseeing is provided in group of maximum 40 people. Your first advanture is crossing around 400 stairs to reach first level (from 3 opens for visitors) of the mine which is 63 meters underground. During your journey through tunnels of this historical and beautiful place, you will see huge caves, amazing chapel, hear small concert and have a light and sound show. Last stage of your tour is way to the surface from third level which is 137 meters underground. Don’t worry, you will use elevator to go up. When you finish your guided tour, driver takes you back to your hotel or any other place you want in Kraków.

5.00We actually paid a little extra and were able to have a private tour for my husband and myself. Berta was so amazing as a tour guide. I would highly recommend her anytime. She was informative and professional, and respectful. The driver that we had, Peter, was wonderful. He was very personable, very accommodating, and All around made the trip with him in the car for hours and hours a wonderful experience.

5.00We booked a one day tour through Viator with Peter. Peter was an amazing driver/guide throughout the day. Our van was spotless, and he navigated the polish traffic with precision and grace. Our guide at Auchwitz, was tremendous telling the history of the camp with historical accuracy and compassion with touching personal stories. The salt mine was a great end of the day visit, astonishing and beautiful.Even though we had extra time at Auschwitz due to extraorinary circumstances, Peter never made us feel rushed, and pull off the rest of the day without a hitch. Great trip, would highly recommend this group.

5.00We had an enjoyable trip. Peter was a wonderful driver. He made sure we got to our destinations with out incident. And made sure we knew what to expect before and after each tour. The salt mine tour was a little crowded and sometimes guide was hard to hear. The Auschwitz tour was very good.
