Welcome to Your Skopje one-day tour!
During this tour you will be having a Bulgarian guide-driver and while driving to the Bulgarian-North Macedonian boarder you will learn more about the common history of the two states as well as a summed overview of the history of the Republic of North Macedonia. Your guide will make your boarder crossing as smooth as possible and will be in touch with his local Macedonian colleague. On their turn they will provide a nice 2-hour walk along the central part of the city giving you even more detailed, on the spot information, some interesting latest news and will be able to answer your questions.
Eventually, you will have the choice to continue strolling down to the fruit and vegetable market or enjoy some of the traditional local cuisine temptations - either at a small non-pretentious restaurant or back downtown in a nice lively atmosphere.

Memorial House of Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa Memorial house was built not too far away from the place her original birth house was. There you will see some authentic artefacts from Mother Teresa's childhood, learn her early days story and be able to pay respect in the modern looking glass chapel on the second floor. We will take 3 hours and 30 minutes from this time by the transportation in route.
The Stone Bridge
This is one of the symbols of Skopje, initially built in the end of 5th century AD during the ages rebuilt by different authorities, inclusive during the time of the Ottoman Empire domination. Beautiful peace of architecture, the KAMEN MOST neatly connects the new part of the city with the Old Bazaar and while walking across the river the bridge certainly introduces us to what we should await for.

We were picked up promptly at 8 am at our hotel in Central Sofia. Our guide, Philip, is a native Bulgarian, fluent in English, and has many years of experience giving tours to various groups from all over the world. He's very knowledgeable about the areas, enthusiastic, pointing out interesting sites en route to Skopje. We were met by Dan in Skopje who is licensed in North Macedonia and gave us a walking tour before letting us explore the Turkish bazaar and other points of interest. The Holocaust museum is quite extensive, and we recommend a visit. There's a small museum with the history of native Nobel laureate Mother Theresa. Interesting mix of architecture and statuary and monuments. Very scenic city. Philip is an exceptional guide, excellent driver, very accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.

It was a great experience. Highly recommended. The driver was also a tour guide from the Bulgarian side and together with the guide in skopje, I learnt a lot about both Bulgarian and Macedonian history. Nothing negative and all positives about this tour.

It was a great experience, everything was on time and as planned. Both guides, the bulgarian and the Macedonian, were delightful. Only issue, was the wreckless driving. I don't know if it is a cultural thing, but we we'd prefer a more defensive way of driving. But it was great.
