Spectacular!!! Everything from the moment Cisca went to pick us up at our accommodation in Nelspruit, the arrival at Kruguer Park, the experience and view of her so that we could see as many animals as possible, Impalas, Giraffes with young, Zebra with young, Hyena nursing, Elephants with their young, Facocero and their young, Leopard, great Kudu, Eagles, Crocodiles, Hippos, Lion, even a beetle with his dung ball :)... already in the Lodge, Dave was waiting for us with lunch, in the afternoon we went out to our Night Safari... goose bumps!!! Elephants, Bufalo, Chitas, a lonely Leona walks past our transport....The Sunset...one lap and ALLI were!!! 3 lionesses and 2 males!! going hunting... WONDERFUL!! Return to the Lodge... Dave waited for us with a more than succulent Barbecue, with meat, chicken, salads, everything impeccable... To sleep... or rather NOT to sleep listening to the animals in his night world... the next day early, Dave waits for us and takes us to see new animals...hyenas, elephants, Mandrels, hippo with two young... From there I walk to the Panoramic route and Blyde Canyon....with a stop to taste some delicious Pancakes with Beer...Return to its Old Vic Inn where we stayed until the 20th of April, date of return home :(But God willing soon we will be with Dave and Bella again to make a new experience in Africa

We can only add to the already fantastic reviews of this tour company - we had a the best overnight stay in Kruger with our tour guide Ciska who looked after us so well. Her ability to spot a Cheetah 200m away meant we got a really rare sighting! Our overnight accommodation in Pretoriuskop was lovely and our Braai dinner was cooked to perfection. The second day took us the length of the Panorama route with none of the stress of route planning and driving and the views along the way were nothing short of spectacular. We needed to get back to Nelspruit a little earlier than planned and we were given the flexibility to do so, truly making it a "flexi" tour.

You can definitely believe the glowing comments already made here about Dave's Flexi-tours of Kruger plus the absolutely gorgeous country along the Blyde River Canyon. A short time into the first day Dave seemed like an old friend--a superbly knowledgeable old friend. He picked us up in Nelspruit at 4:30 a.m. to make sure we entered the Park when it opened at 6, making sure we had the best opportunity to observe many of the Park's beautiful creatures. After 1 1/2 days we had taken photos of over 25 species, some only a few yards away--elephants ambling alongside us, giraffes with their heads in trees, rhinos, zebras, etc. While Dave stayed at the Park cabins (where we were to sleep for the night) to prepare a delicious barbeque for us, we took a night ride with a Park employee and observed a lion pair calmly on the hunt for their warthog dinner and a leopard feasting on an impala in a nearby tree. After leaving the park we headed to the spectacular Blyde River Canyon area followed by a super lunch at Harris's Pancakes and a shopping opportunity. At 77 the experience was not too strenuous for me, and the young teens were delighted with everything! Dress warmly though. In June the rides in an open vehicle were very chilly.

Two weeks back my friend and I went for the 2 day + 1 night safari (called the Leopard Crawl Tour) with Flexi Tours. In one word: amazing! We really had an real good time. Before the tour we stayed in Nelspruit Mbombela Backpackers hostel (also a recommendation!) where we got picked up by our guide, Dave, in his safari jeep at 5 am to start our tour. Dave is really, really great. Thanks to him we had an unforgettable time! The drive from Nelspruit to the Kruger park entrance takes about an hour. Because in the early morning it is still cold outside, Dave had some warm blankets ready for us inside the safari jeep. We arrived by the entrance around 6 pm and started our safari directly after the gate was opened. We saw a lot of animals, because Dave is a real good 'spotter'. He knows where the animals usually hide. Thank to that we saw the big 5 on our first day! And of course we learned a lot about the animals. After the safari day, Dave drove us to our nice rest place in the camp. Dave showed us around and prepared a 'braai' (BBQ) for us. Dave was the cook and we ate together. We had a lot of delicious meat and homemade salads that Dave prepared before the tour. We even had a traditional drink as a dessert. We recommend you to book a place inside the Kruger park, because it allows you to go for a night safari! You'll see a lot of nocturnal animals, that are asleep during the day. It was wonderful. The next morning Dave woke us up at 4:45 am, when he had the breakfast ready. After this start, we packed our things and started for the last and second day of the tour. Again, this was so great! We saw a lot of animals again. Also new ones, because Dave likes to show different places than he did the first day. Great, because the park is so big and diverse. We saw some of the smaller animals, all very very beautiful. We also got to see a cheetah. After the day, Dave drove us back to Nelspruit. I can't say it enough: it was a-ma-zing. The animals, the nature, the guide - the whole tour was great. From 1 out of 10 I would say 11! :) Also: do not forget your binoculars! Otherwise, buy one. It is worth the investment.
