Tired of crowded “umbrella tours” led by drab, impersonal guides? Looking for something more to help you make the best of your time here?
We do city tours our way, leading small groups on intimate experiences full of fun and local adventure. We’ll tell you about history and life in Prague while tasting local foods and enjoying specialty beers. We make sure you see all the important tourist locations while also making time for quiet hidden gems in the historic district. Lastly, we’ll leave you with all the recommendations you’d need to make the best of your time in Prague!
Our one of a kind path will allow you to experience Prague’s crazy busy Old Town in the most authentic - and least crowded - way. It features historic highlights such as the Old Town Square & Astronomical Clock, Jewish Town’s Old-New Synagogue, as well as a whole labyrinth of secret streets, courtyards and alleyways.
*Guided exclusively by Jakub & Ondra, founders of PragueWay Tours
*WEST Side option also available
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Service animals allowed
Public transportation options are available nearby
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Yes, vegetarian and non-alcohol options are available.
Please note: Tripadvisor shows us in the Food & Drink category, but do not expect only-food tour, there will be one "Czech tapas" food tasting stop (medium size lunch / dinner portion)
Please note, to avoid later confusion: this is not a classic food tour, it is our signature mix of a city walking tour with local beer / drinks (two stops) and one proper food tasting stop.
We offer both WEST and EAST side option of the tour - concept is the same.
It’s a chill-paced 4-5km walk on cobblestones, so please wear comfortable shoes.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Charles Bridge
ON THIS TOUR: As part of a small group, you cross Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge, hear the Czech history intro to get a context, then you can enjoy a "welcome" special local beer (or other drink). We will make stops along the way and show you the more hidden parts away from souvenirs and crowds, as well as the high-profile sights such as Charles Bridge, Old Town Square & Astronomical Clock or Jewish Quarter. In 2/3 of the tour, you will sit around table and taste samples of the traditional Czech cuisine. The idea for this concept was: "Let’s say you only have 1 day to spend in Prague, what would be the best possible activity to do, to learn about the city history, today’s life and culture?" We also provide you with our guidebook - where we like to eat and drink, what are our favorite parts of Prague.
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
Old Town is a labyrinth of little cobbled streets, passages and hidden courtyards - on our one of a kind route, get to see both main sights and off the beaten path!
Guided exclusively by Jakub and Ondra, founders of PragueWay Tours.
Tram ticket - option The Castle Side
No worries, there are refreshments included along the way.
Czech Republic is famous for beer, so of course we will include some local specials. Or non-alcoholic drinks as well. (2 stops)
Poncho (in case of rain)
local food tasting - you get a medium size meal (1 stop)
Please note that due to our 3 hours time limit, we do not visit interiors of the sights
THE CASTLE SIDE Route: West side districts: Mala Strana & Hradcany, incl. Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery & Lennon Wall. With local food and beer!
OLD TOWN ROAD Route: East side/ Old Town, incl. Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock, Jewish Quarter & hidden passages. With local food and beer!

Our tour guide Ondrej was interesting and knowledgeable of the area. Took us to a great place for a beer and super tasty snack. Showed us hidden areas. The group was small and intimate. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

The BEST VALUE on all fronts! Ondrei made navigating the madness that is Prague during Christmas, a delight by taking us through mostly small, off the beaten track routes, and filling us with beer and delicious food! One cannot ask of more. Thanks, Ondrei!

Old Town road food & beer tour was the best food tour we have done. Jacob was so knowledgeable about Prague and the Czech Republic's history and his passion was contagious! He took us to ture local Prague establishments just around the corners from the crowded tourist streets. Great family owned businesses with both good cold beer and delicious Czech food. Highly recommend this tour. And try to book it your first day in Prague.

It’s a great walking tour to see some tourist areas and non tourist areas as well! Jacob seemed more like a friend showing me around vs a guide. He was super personable and I love that he incorporated food and beer. The cute little restaurant we went to was adorable! I’m Happy he ordered food I may not have on my own because it was delicious and authentic. I would recommend this tour over and over! Totally worth it and one of my faves I’ve ever done!
