What To Expect
Let Your Tastebuds Travel Learn to cook Thai food in the comfort of your own kitchen, with real-time expert advice from a Thai-Akha instructor. Discover the culture and cuisine of the Akha, an indigenous hill tribe of Southeast Asia, with the help of your native host. We have successfully run a cooking school in Chiang Mai, Thailand for more than six years, hosting more than 30,000 students from all over the world. Now we are offering our coursework online through a virtual, hands-on cooking class that you can enroll in anywhere in the world. An English-speaking instructor from Thai-Akha Kitchen will guide you through traditional Thai-cooking techniques, sharing insight into Thai and Akha heritage along the way. The class is suitable for beginners, but can also be tailored to chefs who know their way around the kitchen and want to learn to cook something new straight from the source. The instructor is a friendly, well-traveled, and knowledgeable chef with firsthand insight into Thai and Akha history. Welcome! to discover the culture and cuisine of the Akha, an indigenous hill tribe of Southeast Asia, with the help of your native host.

5.00Great experience! I attended the evening cooking class. There is pick up at the hotel and during the cooking class hours many dishes are cooked, from appetizers to first courses to desserts. The girl running the lesson made the experience unforgettable, very fun and engaging. You learn a lot about the culinary culture of northern Thailand and especially the Akha culture. Would gladly recommend

Our son simply loved doing Thai cuisine, especially as we then enjoyed the dishes we had prepared in a casual and fun Mood. We recommend this experience that you can live with family.
