Picking up the tickets was quick and easy. The seats were good for the price paid. The sight lines were excellent. The show itself was terrific. It was wonderful to see an opera at the Sydney Opera House!

The venue amazing, however this performance was not to our tastes. At this venue you expect amazing sets and costumes. This, however, had neither. Boring set, boring costumes and the main female protagonist did not fit the role. The one bright spot was the talent of the male protagonist. Amazing voice. I picked this show, because if you are going to the Sydney Opera House, you need to see an opera. But was not thrilled with this production.

Absolutely fabulous evening at the Sydney Opera House attending a performance of Puccini”s Turandot. It was very easy to pick up the ticket and I ate a preconcert dinner at a wonderful restaurant right at the Opera House.

One of the best operas I’ve seen around the world. Opera often demands a leap of faith in the characters played by the singer however Calaf was sung by a Korean and he really looked the part as well as singing magnificently. The staging was dramatic and it’s definitely a must see if you are in Sydney. Cannot recommend enough. I also saw Butterfly Taking them both together I think Opera Australia has exceeded its very high standards

I agreed with Andre R totally. My kids need to watch opera as the composer intended.but not an experimental one such as this current Turandot.. It's for the future generation. Sydney should have Opera Komishe as in Berlin to cater for this taste.

Thank you Opera Australia for this outstanding performance. Standing ovations and six plus cast bows to a more than happy audience who were given a night of exceptional voices and treated to an original artistic contemporary version of Turandot. The chorus was spectacular.
