Join our experienced guide and storyteller for an evening or daytime stroll, learn about the castle’s history as well as the many ghosts that are said to haunt the area. Our guide will take you on a historical journey through the life of Osaka castle and the many spirits that dwell within. Warrior monks, cursed stones, vengeful spirits and mythical Yokai are just some of the tales you will hear on the tour. You will also hear about battles, sieges and the famous Samurai who shaped the course of Japanese history and changed the country forever!

5.00This "Haunted Night Walk" at Osaka Castle is an absolute must-do for anyone looking to see a different side of the city. Even though we experienced the tour during the day, the atmosphere was incredible—you could literally feel the vibe of the history and legends surrounding the grounds. It’s a fantastic way to discover Osaka from a unique perspective, blending historical facts and traditions with local beliefs and ghost stories. It really allows you to see these famous landmarks through different eyes while picking up some great local hints along the way. A huge thank you to Neil, who provided us with a private tour. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions, making the experience feel personal and engaging. We are already looking forward to coming back and doing the full tour at night next time! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper, more atmospheric look at Osaka’s past.

5.00The tour was awesome! Nile was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the castle and Japanese culture. Some of the Haunted areas were genuinely unnerving too. Would highly recommend!
