He arranged a private car and met us directly at our hotel in Umeda, wisely recommending an 8 a.m. start that helped us make the most of our day. His deep knowledge of Osaka history and local food impressed us, and he kept the tour very informative. We enjoyed highlights such as Osaka Castle and the lively streets of Dotonbori, Delicious food throughout the day added a wonderful extra layer to the experience.

He showed us fascinating corners of the city beyond the typical tourist spots, including the atmospheric alleys of Hozenji Yokocho, the vibrant shopping streets of Dotonbori where we had our great sushi lunch, and the breathtaking views from Osaka Castle. His expertise and lively personality brought the city to life, from the historic grounds of Osaka Castle to the energy of its dynamic districts. We sampled fantastic local cuisine (the takoyaki was a standout!) and gained real insight into Osaka’s culture through Kakioka’s engaging stories. 5.00The tour was an EXCELLENT. We went to Osaka's highlights, from the Osaka Castle to the vibrant energy of Dotonbori and the stunning views from the Umeda Sky Building. Our guide Carrie provided a detailed historical context at the castle and Dotonbori food. She took nice pictures for us as well. She just made our tour a perfect one.
