This is a one-of-a-kind workshop that offers a taiko drumming experience as an attraction! The experience takes the form of a
mission in which the participants are given a mission in the form of a taiko player who has forgotten his memory and must successfully perform on stage, and at the end of the workshop, they can put on a costume and experience performing on the theatre stage in an innovative structure. A video of this performance, recorded and edited, will be presented to those who experience it. At the end, everyone can take a commemorative photograph to leave a page in your memory.You are the hero of the story. You have joined the taiko performance group TEMPO DRUMS, which you have longed to be a part of, and today is the long-awaited first performance. However, as soon as you arrive at the theatre, you forget all memories about TEMPO DRUMS... You don't know how to play the drums, how to wear the costumes or even the songs for your first performance!

5.00The class was small but the instructors were attentive. They’re high energy and very encouraging. Overall, there’s a few beat combos and the whole routine is less than 5 minutes. Very low stakes way to try something new. Don't be shy! Mistakes will happen but the show will go on! It made me want to come back to see them perform and that was amazing!

5.00This was an amazing experience. First of all, SUPER cheap and great value - cost me 26USD and nobody else signed up, so it was three drummers instructing just me for an hour. You'll learn a bunch of drumming, posing, and shouting patterns that eventually turn into a full song. They were all very energetic, fun, and great teachers, and really make you feel like you're one of them by the end of it. I was also quite amused and deeply honoured that they asked me a few times if I was Japanese (I'm not, but could physically pass and speak the language decently), and finally told me I have "日本の魂" (a Japanese soul). 5.00Amazing Taiko Drum Experience! We had such an incredible time at the Tempo Drums Taiko experience! The energy was absolutely electric from start to finish — the drumming was powerful, fun, and completely immersive. The instructors were so engaging and made it easy for everyone to join in, no matter their age or skill level. Our kids especially loved it and haven’t stopped talking about it since! It’s the perfect mix of music, movement, and teamwork. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience!

5.00A fun emersive playful experiance. The hosts were excellent and we had a great time on the drums. I was sightly sceptical when I booked but enjoyed myself! This isn't a history lesson it's a fun hands on activity!

5.00Absolutely amazing experience. The 4 instructors were high energy and really fun. If you are in Osaka it’s a must do. Don’t need any musical experience to get 100% enjoyment. The entrance is at the top of the escultor (floor 2)

5.00Being Taiko players in the UK and having done some training in Japan in the past, this was the best pert of our trip. We had difficulty downloading the video we went back to watch the actual show. Afterwards the guys helped us do this as our Japanese is embryonic! Amazing experience and. We will do it again when we get back to Osaka one day! Thank you so much

5.00As professional musicians we always wanted to play on a Taiko drum! And this experience gave us this chance. It was a very energetic show, where you learned some rythems on the drums in a very playful way! So if you are in Osaka and near the aquarium, go and enjoy playing the Taiko drum! Even if you don't have a musical background. The energetic teachers alone makes it 100% worthwhile! 100% would recommend and a must go when you're in Osaka!
