Reaching the summit of Osorno Volcano gives us tremendous satisfaction after the effort to reach it. We marvel at the great view that it offers us, where you can see Lake Llanquihue in its entirety, the Petrohué River, Todos los Santos Lake, Calbuco Volcano, Tronador Hill, Puntiagudo Volcano, Cerrro La picada and even Rupanco Lake, Lago Puyehue, Puyehue Volcano, Casa Blanca Volcano, Villarrica Volcano and more. An unforgettable experience that shows the best of the area.

Departing from your place of stay in Puerto Varas, 3:30 am in the morning, we head towards the Osorno Volcano. We started by registering our ascent in the office of CONAF, the regulatory body for national parks. We will walk about 2 hours through rocks and volcanic stone to get to the point where we will equip ourselves with all the necessary safety equipment. We will continue ascending until we reach our last challenge, which will be climbing the steepest area through ice and snow. Facing this latest adventure we will reach our destination, the summit of the Osorno Volcano of 2,652 meters above sea level. We will enjoy and appreciate the beautiful view that offers us and then begin our descent. IMPORTANT: Ascent of 6 km approx (12 km in total round trip approx) Route of stone and volcanic sand at the beginning, snow and ice at its end in summer. Ice and snow in winter.
