Our guide Diana was so friendly, helpful and informative. The trip was worth it for the information alone. Great conversations. The Bizcochos was delicious and interesting to know the history/how they make it and similar with the Agave and at 0 0 0 my husband managed to balance an egg!! The waterfall is beautiful and watching the lady playing the instruments was very relaxing. And of course, the market was full of hoods to buy. We tried haggling (I usually hate it but they seem to love it!) and it really works - start at half the price and then work up to the middle difference. We got some bargains. For lunch Diana found a restaurant that served fish as I don’t eat meat. All in all a great day out.

It's a very good tour, informative, Personalized and the guide a 10/10 as he tells you from start to finish what you are visiting, explains each thing and place and tells you what is going to be done next and apart from all this he takes photos as many times as you want, I definitely recommend it totally

Exceptional trip with Ernesto! He picked us from the hotel and started sharing the history behind the beautiful scenic views! I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND ERNESTO! He was calm, patient and more importantly patient with us, and the questions we had. He is also a very good photographer! Ernesto made sure for our safety. This trip was a beautiful visit to many different locations and markets. I highly reccomend!

Massive market on Saturday but I shopped more from shops then street vendors. Saw falls and a lake, hugged a tree, had pastry tasting and caught some local music. Enjoyable long day. Photos of ancient sundial by falls

I did the Otavalo market day tour from Quito with Irene as my guide and it was an incredible experience! We stopped to try bizcochos at a local restaurant, saw peguche waterfall, visited lake San Pablo, heard indigenous music and finally stopped at otavalo market. Irene was very helpful with giving us advice and information about her country which made the day run smoothly. I recommend Irene and this tour if you are looking to experience all that this area has to offer and only want to spend one day here. The tour did run a bit late, so be prepared to spend your entire day exploring!

Irene was a fantastic tour guide and John a great driver. Lots of fun at market and sampling biscotti, seeing waterfalls, and buying beautiful roses for 25 cents each. Not to miss tour. Saturdays is best.
