It's a scavenger hunt, escape room, and urban crawl all-in-one. Follow the storyline around town as you find clues and use them to crack codes. Then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. Clues can be anywhere - murals, statues, landmarks, and more!

Plan on about two hours of playtime, depending on your experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Difficulty level is adjustable - take as many or as few hints as you’d like!

Bookings made a week or more in advance receive their kit in the mail. Bookings made less than a week in advance will pick up their kit at the start point on the day of the adventure - exact pickup location is sent after booking.

What To Expect

An immersive clue-solving adventure around The Banks. It's a cross between an escape room and a scavenger hunt! You only need to purchase one ticket for a group of up to 6. The city is literally your game board. Search for real-world clues and solve puzzles, then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. The game consists of a physical box and clues you must find in the real world, all around The Banks in Cincinnati. Plan on about two hours of play time, depending on experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Trust no one. A ring of double agents has infiltrated the Chronos Agency and it’s up to you to go undercover and expose them. Can you track them down before it’s too late? Search for clues, solve puzzles, and explore Cincinnati's The Banks on this unforgettable escape room adventure!

Our group included adults and teenagers. This experience was definitely challenging, yet multiple hints are provided to help you progress. We needed a lot of hints with the first challenges. By the end, we improved and needed fewer hints. We enjoyed learning about the Black Bridge Brigade and hunting for clues. Listening to the Black Music Walk of Fame had the teens breaking out their dance moves. It was a great educational experience and we will be doing another Outdoor Escape room someday. Thanks for a great time!

I thought it was great. There were 5 of us, all college educated and or in college. It was difficult, but not too difficult. Each one of us ended up solving a portion of the puzzle and or pointing out the key factor. From the start we knew what the ending would be, but had to work to solve each phase of the puzzle.

Unique way to explore the riverfront are of downtown Cincinnati. Enjoyed being able to stop and play or eat and then continue the game. Some of the challenges were too hard for kids but the hints were helpful.

We really enjoyed the experience. We had a massive group (bigger than they have ever hosted) and it was great and worked out just fine. Everyone enjoyed the game and walking around Cincinnati, which is far more beautiful than I ever knew. Only reason my review is not 5 star is because there were a couple of clues that we could not access due to things outside of the company’s control. I only wish we knew that before booking.
Highly recommend. Enjoy the experience!

This was a great experience! Everyone had fun and enjoyed solving the puzzles. The difficulty level was good. Not too hard and not too easy to solve the clues. The last one requires using a lot of hints, highly recommend this and appreciate that it was in the DORA district so we could have cocktails while we played.

It’s fun, but slow-moving with younger kids. Each clue involves thinking/figuring out a puzzle. It was a hot day. But overall, it is active, it teaches you about Cincinnati, its parks, and history, and makes your brain work! Small Park and the Black Music Park are awesome!

First I went to pick up the box, only to find out it’s $50 at the store and $75 on viator. Myself, husband and two teens went. I have used viator for years for tours and Have loved every tour. This was way overpriced, clues impossible. What fun is it if you have to use all the hints. Without the hints you couldn’t have figured it out. I want my money back. The worst experience for a family.

It was a great time even with the rain. I recommend checking the weather app beforehand and come prepared. Bring a bag, note pad, water, umbrella/rain gear if needed.

The escape room game was beautifully done, leveraging landmarks throughout the banks area as part of the puzzles. Even though we are from the area, there were some landmarks we didn’t know about. The game was also easy to stop, go do something else, and then pick up later. Some of the puzzles could be quite difficult, but there are ample hints if you get stuck.

It was a great game we had fun doing it as a family. My kids enjoyed solving puzzles and pretending to be spys. We didn't have any complaints other than wishing we would have pick a nicer day, but all in all it was a great time.
