After picking you up from your chosen pickup point, we will undertake a fantastic minibus trip to the Agafay Desert.
After an hour of travel, we will enter the arid landscapes of the Atlas and arrive at the camp where we will spend a very special night. Once there, we will meet a set of haimas and they will welcome us with tea.
Then you can choose whether you want to take a quad bike or camel ride (extra) through the dunes of Agafay or if you prefer to stay in the camp to watch the sunset. Either way, you will appreciate the wonders of the desert.
Later, we will settle around a campfire to enjoy a dinner in the purest Moroccan style, consisting of salads, chicken tagine, vegetable couscous and dessert. And not only that, but the evening will be animated by a traditional show. Belly dancing, fire-breathing, gnawa music ....

Unbelievable experience, high quality accommodation with amazing staff and camels and quad bikes spending loads of time getting the best photos. Dropped back to airport which was also helpful at around 11am next day. Only issue was the communication as to pick up, I just got called when they arrived but don’t let this stop you visiting it’s truly mind blowing!

This was truly the best experience of my time in Marrakech and an absolute must-do trip. A very special thank you to Safwan and the local staff — their hospitality, kindness, and generosity made the whole experience unforgettable. Safwan in particular, is an amazing person: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You feel welcomed not as a tourist, but as a guest. Everything was perfectly organized. The dinner was delicious, rich in local flavors, and served with great care. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and magical — exactly what you imagine when escaping the city. The shows were incredible: beautiful traditional dancing, authentic local and Arabic music, and an impressive fire show that added so much energy and emotion to the night. It felt real, cultural, and deeply Moroccan. We felt really like we are at home. The camel ride, the swimming pool, the desert setting, the stars and the overall calmness made this experience unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, culture, fun, and generosity. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of my Marrakech trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morocco — you will not regret it.

An unforgettable overnight stay in Agafay that truly exceeded expectations. The place is breathtaking, with a peaceful desert atmosphere and beautifully arranged tents. Service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and always making us feel welcome. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of authentic flavours. The evening show was magical, with great music and performances under the stars. Overall, a perfect desert escape that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Thank you for a very pleasant overnight stay Mercure Livingston. My wife and I stayed there on the 13th December to attend a family party in the area. We had stayed there some time before but following that stay the Mercure was the first place I looked at. Our room was very clean well presented and comfortable. Very nice comfortable bed and lovely fresh bedding. Just what you want for your night out to come into. It wasn't a 5 star place but at the price we paid and for the standard we experienced I considered it very good value. Included in our price was a very tasty enjoyable breakfast hot and sufficient enough for those with a healthy appetite. So thank you all the Mercure staff we had dealings with you made our short and brief stay very enjoyable and very comfortable. If we need accommodation in the area at a later date the Mercure will be the first place we look at and would highly recommend to other's.

Excellent evening. Dinner very good and plentiful. Very characteristic show. The camel ride was also interesting although not included in the price but they were not insistent. The tents where we slept were comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend this experience

⚠️ Opinions on Camp Agafay Desert: A Disappointing Tourist Catch ⚠️ Agafay's "desert camp" is unfortunately a big disappointment that is closer to a well-oiled tourist machinery than an authentic experience. We are promised escape, but we find ourselves in an overcrowded place, where tents are stacked and privacy is non-existent. The rocky desert, although pretty, is only an hour from Marrakech, and the atmosphere is spoiled by the noise of quad bikes and multiple groups. Prices are excessive for the quality of services (medium meals, impersonal service). This is a perfect place for those who want an Instagram photo, but if you are looking for the calm and authenticity of a starry night in the desert, pass your way. There are much better experiences to be had elsewhere in Morocco.
