Enjoy sampling 4 or 5 of Oxford's best and unique local food or drink market stalls or shops on this Oxford food tasting & sightseeing guided walking tour which takes in the top Oxford sights. We can cater to special dietary needs.
Food & drinks usually wine or gin tasting at a micro-brewery stall, a visit to the Oxford cheese company and or Italian style gelato plus a choice from a wide range of local, international food stalls at Oxford's international food market. You can also sample a micro brewery drink inside the Covered Market, if you wish to.
This tour introduces each college we pass on the route and sometimes it also includes entry to one of the university colleges.
NOTICE: this is NOT a tapas tour as one finds in Spain, where they enter bars and sit down. Instead we visit food stalls but there is no restaurant or bar service. Plus it's not a set fixed every time menu of choices. We make suggestions and the guide pays for the food and drink.

Please arrive 5 minutes early for your tour at our meeting point. If you arrive more than 5 minutes later than the scheduled tour, then you will likely forfeit and lose your booking as it interrupts the guide and other customers, if we are trying to find you after a guide has started and left the meeting point.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Our guide, Aledstair, was punctual, loaded with fascinating history and current stories , great fun and very mindful of the individual needs of the group. Walking the central area and biking the Thames with a complementary scenic outdoor pub stop made this delightful outing the perfect way to spend our day in Oxford.

5.00Mary our guide for the walking tour did a wonderful job. As a student herself she was very knowledgeable about the colleges and the city of Oxford. Highly recommend this tour. Andrew our guide for the bicycle tour also did an excellent job. We learned a lot about Sinclair Lewis. Would be nice for an upgrade on the bikes.

5.00We did the walking tour of the city with Monica followed by the cycling tour with Andrew. Both were amazing! The walking tour was interesting and informative, and the cycling tour was an amazing experience riding through town, through a field with cows and horses, with stops at a beautiful very old church and at a pub for a drink before heading back. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Started our day with the 12:30 walking tour with Alasdair, entertaining, engaging and very knowledgeable! He made it personal by learning & using our names! We finished our day with a 2:30 bike tour with Andrew, seeing mores sites as we rode out of town to the picturesque village of Binsey, even enjoying a pint at the local pub! Andrew made this beautiful day even better, always willing to tailor our sites to what we wanted to see & was very patient as my photographer husband stopped (frequently) for photos. He knew the area well & could tell he really enjoyed what he was doing. These tours where worth every penny & I would not hesitate to recommend them to any one! Thank you for a lovely Oxford experience!
