Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.
For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

5.0010/10 experience, Juan and Julia were lovely. The cooking is easy enough to be accessible to anyone, the ingredients provided are of great quality, and the venue itself is spacious and lovely. Bonus; All the boring bits like ingredient prep and cleanup are handled for you! Great wine selection, tapas, and dessert. Very good value for money. Can imagine also booking for a group of friends.

From the insights from Daniel of the city to enjoying the discussion about the region and the history of paella. The tapas was glorious as were the wines served. 5.00We had a wonderful few hours learning how to cook paella together. Reyes was a fantastic teacher who took the time to take us through the steps carefully and with humour. Julia kept the wine flowing and the tapas coming. Would definitely recommend this course if you are ever in Valencia.

5.00The paella cooking class was a great experience. Reyes is an excellent teacher. She guided us through the market where she purchased some of our ingredients. I appreciate that she sent a query before the class asking for the type of paella we wanted to make. The cooking lesson was informative and fun. Instructions were clear with step by step help. Tapas and wine were part of the day. And...the paella was delicious!!!! Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
