Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!

First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!

You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.

After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.

Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.

For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

Chef Daniel is so charasmatic and fun! He was so insightful and going through all the steps is such a great way while sharing cooking tips and paella facts on the side. Would highly recommend for a great time!

Fabulous evening, Reyes and her assistant (so sorry I didn’t get your name) were both lovely, attentive, friendly and professional. Reyes is a great chef/teacher and I, and my lovely Peruvian partner, made the most amazing Valencian paella, far better than those I’d eaten in restaurants during our stay. I only wish we’d had the recipe to take away however Rayes has said she will send it to us 🤞

I can’t say enough great things about Reyes and her cousin and our Paella cooking class. Jackie and I had an amazing evening with them and the other class guests. Reyes and cousin were absolutely delightful. Her instructions were thorough and her teaching style was thoughtful. Our meal and the wine and tapas was exceptional! HIGHLY RECOMMEND them if you’re looking for an authentic Paella cooking experience!

A great experience with Daniel and his crew. We started with a nice walking tour with Daniel of the old town as the market was closed for a holiday. We then did the cooking class which informative and insightful. The result was delicious and the venue great. Highly recommended.

Daniel, Tuathla and Jip were amazing Hosts! Loved the way the whole experience was organized. Especially loved the short tour Daniel gave us of the heart of Valencia. Also, loved the choice of wines!

We had the best time at the cooking class. Daniel was an excellent host and very knowledgeable about all things Valencia and all things for Paella cooking. His hostesses were all so friendly and warm Sharing our food and wine at the end of the of the class was an excellent way to finish it off. 5 stars! You won’t be disappointed

I had a fantastic time learning to cook paella in a warm, friendly atmosphere that truly felt like being among friends. The class was fun, well explained, and the paella turned out absolutely delicious. A special thanks to Daniel, who was an excellent host and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The affintriones have been very cordial, a lot of knowledge of the paellas, the attention has been magnificent, I would definitely recommend it a thousand times
