Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.
For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

The added hospitality of tapas and various drinks/sweets was a great bonus. Look no further than this experience if you’re interested to make paella. 11/10 review for Megan and Julia.

5.00Lovely evening and fantastic cooking experience! The chef/ host Dani and was lively, and kept the group entertained as we made our paella. He was knowledgeable in the history of the food and kept things moving throughout the evening. The food turned out so good, best paella I’ve had and we made it ourselves which was more rewarding and the wine and apps were delish!! Really loved this experience with my husband and meeting others. Each couple or trio had their own station and dish keeping things intimate while still in a group setting.

5.00The class was one of the best if not the best cooking classes my husband and I have taken! Victor and Julia were excellent - the presentations were educational and the food was amazing. The paella was the best we had in Valencia- and he shared the recipes with us!

5.00We did this tour today 24 may and all I can say is: it was amazing! Megan is incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the whole experience. Michelli is so kind and always made sure everyone had drinks and felt comfortable. The tour was absolutely worth the money. The paella was delicious and full of flavor! Megan and Michelli are both wonderful people and very friendly, welcoming, and caring. We felt welcome from the very first minute. Highly recommended! Xx Julia (Fleurs sister)
