Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.
For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

5.00This was one of my favourite parts of our Valencian adventures ( and we loved all of it!)! Reyes(the chef) made the experience so friendly from the start! She has such depth of knowledge and also passion for food but also the Valencian culture! Her and Luna helped us get immersed into the experience with stories, amazing nibbles and assorted wines and cavas! The actual paella cooking : so much fun! We got to learn amazing techniques that made all the difference when cooking it. We ended up with a delicious paella to it, and that was all due to Reyes’ clear guidance! We were a group of 11 but she payed attention and offered advice to all of us! I’d do it all over again!

5.00AMAZING. If you love good food and great guides you absolutely have to do this cooking class. Reyes was a great guide through the city and fantastic teacher and we all made excellent Paella by the end! Would recommend to anyone coming to Valencia in a heartbeat, has been the highlight of the trip.

5.00Fantastic experience with Victor and Luna !! Easy to follow and wonderful snacks and canapes and paellas accompanied by Cava and different wines free flowing ! Also, an opportunity to follow chef Victor on a quick shopping trip in the market beforehand, quick run through some most important sights - perfect balance ! Superb !!!!

It was my first visit to Valencia and to a paella class, and everything was very good: the tour, the company, the class, the food, and the wines. Jimena helped Megan; she was very attentive and provided excellent service. 100% recommended
