Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Reyes was very informative about Valencia. The trip to the market was interesting. Making the Paella was very good and we enjoyed eating it together with sampling the wines and tapas.

Chef Daniel gave a very interesting potted history of the Old City as we made our way to the market to collect fresh ingredients. Back at the Paella kitchen Julia had the wine ready and explained about the local grapes. We then had fun learning how to cook authentic paella and tasting tapas before enjoying the meal we had prepared. It was a wonderful experience and one my wife and I would thoroughly recommend.

We spent 4 amazing hours on this course. We met and did a great walk through Valencia to the market, learning lots and shopping for produce. There were refreshments waiting for as at the beautiful venue, and we had an introduction to Paella. The whole experience of cooking and eating the paella was amazing! Daniel our host was a great guide and chef and made every step easy. There were snacks as we cooked and more drinks. We then sat and shared our meal with the whole group who we had got to know. Julia was also there and made sure we had everything we needed in terms of refreshments. The four hours flew past and we felt we had made friends with the group when we finished. The level of experience we received for the money exceeded our expectations. Thank you Daniel and Julia for a great day.

Absolutely amazing experience! Both Victor and Sophia were super kind, happy to answer questions about both the class and transferring the skills to home. Was so happy with the class, we learned a lot and are excited to transfer the skills to home! Other class participants were also super kind, and was a great experience to do in a big group. Lots of great connections to continue, and make paella together!

The experience was amazing. We had so much fun doing our seafood paella. We learned about the origins of it, then cooked it and then ate it! The chef was super generous about his knowledge. And the wine was very good! The only thing we regret is not being able to go to the food market. It is closed nights and sundays so i would recommend going another day of the week and not at night.

Megan and Luna were amazing! We had the best time cooking paella in our honeymoon. The instructions were clear and Megan was always there to help with every step. We were also served wine and tapas which was an amazing bonus to the day. The paella turned out delicious and we also loved the group we cooked our paella with. We ended up traveling Valencia with the group and had a great day. Couldn’t recommended this enough!

Took the seafood paella class with Chef Victor and Mimi and loved every minute. This wasn’t just “chop and stir.” We walked the Mercado Central, learned about bomba rice and saffron, heard why paella pans are wide and shallow … super fun, authentic, and delicious. Victor’s tips for perfect socarrat were gold. We ate the best paella of our trip, with the wine and Cava flowing and new friends from around the world. Highly recommend if you want real Valencian cooking, not tourist traps. Thanks Victor & Mimi!
