Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!

First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!

You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.

After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.

Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.

For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

This cooking class was a true gem—fantastic tour, impeccable service, and the most delicious paella I’ve ever tasted. The wine pairings were sublime and elevated the entire meal. Prior to going I was unsure of the experience. From the second we met with the group and the instructors, it was a great time had! Reyes and Isabell were both fantastic they made the entire experience memorable.

Wonderful class and delicious paella, however our registration said a trip to the market was included. As it was a Sunday the market was closed. Other attendees indicated they had a reduced price because of the market not being part of the experience. I do not believe we received the discount

This was such a great experience in learning how to cook paella. Victor and his team did an amazing job teaching us not only about paella, but Valencia food and drink culture as a whole.

Best adventure in Valencia. Victor and his assistant Michelle were warm and attentive. The market was fabulous but the entire experience was beyond my expectations. Food, drinks, everything was top-rate. Highly recommend.

We had a great time learning to cook the paella and tasting local wines. Was nice to hear a little about Valencia from Daniel on our trip to the market, and to meet a few other visitors to the city. Would definately recommend
