Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Megan and Cormac were so hospitable, knowledgeable, and fun. Megan led us on a short walking tour through the city and market. We went to the restaurant and were welcomed with cava, delicious olives, and peanuts. After that, we went to the kitchen for our paella lesson and a family-style dinner. I went solo and appreciated the opportunity to connect with others over food, drink, and travel. I even made a solo pan of paella and found it worth it (and had some great leftovers). I loved this tour and highly recommend it!

Best part yet of our trip to Spain as a family! We met some amazing people and our host Megan and Cormac were the best! Hilarious, accommodating. Full of knowledge. We have had paella and this is the best tasting we’ve had yet! I hardly recommend this experience.

Meg & Cormac were excellent and the class was paced appropriately and did a fantastic job of explaining the paella process, ingredients and history of paella. It was super fun, informative and a great family experience.

A wonderful way to begin my stay in Valencia. Our guide for the tour, shopping, drinking and cooking was fantastic. His enthusiasm joy came through from the start, making this an enjoyable experience for a diverse group of all ages and from different parts of the world. The wine flowed, and the food was fun to make, even better to eat.

Not one to rate the highest as I believe there is always room for improvement. This experience surpassed our expectations in so many levels it is hard to describe. Reyes was an amazing guide, chef and host and Cormac was as gracious as host as you can ask for. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn about Valencian culture and Paella cooking.

I really loved this paella cookingworkshop. Chef Reyes was very clear with the instructions how to make the best paella and helped us in need. Also Amber did her best to serve us nice wines, some bites and explain about them. I am certain this cookingworkshop will make you paella cookingmaster at home.

From pickup to finish, we were in good hands with Juan. Very knowledgeable guide and he was helpful in the kitchen as well! The cooking experience was involved but not too difficult as i was able to still enjoy the wine and small bites provided by Dientje while cooking the paella! Overall the food was great and it was nice to connect with fellow travelers for the evening. Worth the money!

I loved the experience. It starts with a tour around the city center towards the market, where we bought some ingredients. Later you are going to the place where the cooking class happens, and there are some wine and food tastings in between. Reyes was our host, and she was amazing! She has a very warm personality and is great at explaining. I love the fact that we are making paella in pairs and everyone is learning that way. I saw some other classes that only made one big paella, which is not good for learning. Everyone chose their own type of paella, and ours turned out great in the end! We got the recipe too, and we are going home with a new skill: how to cook a paella. Thank you girls for the great experience!
