Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!

First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!

You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.

After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.

Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.

For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

I can’t recommend this experience enough! I did this experience as a solo traveler, and it was a great way to connect with other travelers. The process to make paella was very simple with instructions, and I can’t wait to travel home to make this dish for my family. 10/10 would bring a friend and come again.

This is a well-organized and enjoyable paella cooking lesson. Daniel our instructor was knowledgeable and jolly, the ingredients were fresh, and the final dish was excellent. One of a kind experience. We enjoyed the Valencian dessert and wines. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning authentic paella.

My wife, teenage son, and I had an amazing time! We enjoyed the trip through El Marcado Centrale. The paella was fabulous and our tour guide was awesome and friendly!

Wunderbares Erlebnis besonders wenn man es mit Freunden oder den Partner macht. Absolut empfehlenswert! Megan and Julia were absolutely amazing and the Paella tested incredible! We were served all the time with wine!

This was one of the best travel experiences we have had, highly recommend! We had reservations it would be very touristy, but it was extremely authentic, and we not only learned how to make paella but also got an awesome historical tour of Valencia! Daniel, our head chef, was awesome!

We did this as a family (all adults) making 2 paellas between 5 people. In addition to the paella cooking experience there was information about the city and history of paella, also lots of wine included and dessert, cooking instructions were very clear and the paellas turned out great!

Fantastic experience including market visit, tapas, paella making and wine. It's in a spacious and calm dedicated space. Chef Victor and Michelle were so friendly and helpful. We booked this as a birthday gift for family, and everyone had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend.
