Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish!
First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking!
You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special.
After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella.
Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Mercado Central is closed in the afternoon/evening and on Sundays. Any tours happening in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday will not enter the market.
For tours not visiting the Central Market, the duration is 3hrs and available at a lower price

5.00Very organized and so much fun! Daniel sent a message earlier in the day to let us know that the start time had changed due to the Central Market being closed. He's an excellent teacher with a great sense of humor and an excellent chef. Highly recommend this class!

5.00We had amazing time at the paella cooking class! I loved how our wine glasses were always full and little delicious canapés we were fed during cooking! I learnt a lot! It’s great value for money! 3-4 hours although it went so fast! If you’re considering booking it, do it! ☺️

5.00Making the real Valencian paella directly in its place of origin was fascinating and interesting. The guide explains everything: from explaining the traditional ingredients, to taking care of the fire, to the little secrets that really make a difference. The guide was extremely competent and passionate, always ready to answer questions. The atmosphere was relaxed and convivial, perfect for making friends with the other people present. The final paella came very well and accompanied by excellent wine

5.00This was one of the highlights of our trip to Valencia! The paella cooking class was hands on and fun, and we learned so much about traditional Spanish cooking. The wine tasting was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal we prepared. The visit to the Central Market was also a great addition to the experience. Fresh ingredients, vibrant atmosphere, and a real taste of local life in Valencia. Our instructor was knowledgeable and made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. We learned an incredible amount not just about the paella itself, but also Valencia and region as a whole. Seriously, the food and drinks were REALLY tasty, but the conversation was even better!
