Miraflores Visitor Center
The tour at the Miraflores Visitor Center offers a fascinating experience to get up close and personal with the workings of the Panama Canal. During the visit, you'll be able to watch the huge ships transit through the Miraflores Locks, where the water level is raised or lowered to allow the ships to pass. The Center also has a theater where you can watch an Imax film documented about the historical construction of the canal and its economic importance. In addition, there is an observation deck with a spectacular panoramic view and, in some cases, you'll be able to see the ships crossing in real time.

5.00This was an amazing experience for me, my daughter and sister. Chris picked us up at scheduled time. He was very informative. Answered all our questions to the best of his ability. Chris was very patient and waited for everyone to catch up. We had no concerns or complaints. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing as you will be walking a lot. I would 100% recommend this excursion to everyone, you won’t regret it!!!
