5.00Just perfect, couldn’t be better. A fabulous experience traveling in a private boat on Lake Gatun (part of the Panama Canal), seeing huge slow-moving ships up close and then floating through the mangroves of monkey sanctuary, seeing Capuchin, Howler and other breeds living in the wild, as well as various birds (including small eagles) and lizards and miniature bats. Captain Miguel did everything to show us as much wildlife as possible. He brough grapes and a banana to attract monkeys, and they were reaching from the trees into our boat and gently picking fruit from our outstretched hands. Captain Miguel did much more than other captains we saw who just quickly poked their boats in and out. Edier (Eddie), our driver and guide, was a font of knowledge which he shared both during the drive and on the boat. Paty, the manager of Bubble Trips was always available, responsive, and helpful. All in all, one of the best private tour experiences in recent years.

5.00Amazing experience! It is really unbelievable! Panama Canal is amazing and the presentation of the construction is really interesting. The monkey island is relly good. We navigated on the Gatun Lake and we have seen many monkeys! To finish, we lunched in a typical restaurant ( fonda). Thanks to Edier for all his explanations! You should not miss this visit!

5.00Many thanks to our guide who was exceptional during our expeditions to Panama; Adam Lorenzo He was able to answer our many questions about the history of Panama. We made Lake Gatun/Monkey Ilea/ Miraflores/ Casco Viejo and there hike India Dormina! Quite exceptional

5.00Great tour to get to know the canal and see the wildlife! Everything was smooth and the guide was very friendly. We also loved the fact that ecotourism is part of their philosophy, we did not need to feed the animals to see them! They also responded instantly when reserving the tour or when we had questions. Would highly recommend.

5.00I went on this tour with Miguel and let me tell you, this was FABULOUS! Pristine and beautiful raw jungles, beautiful monkeys of 4+ varieties. Miguel brought bananas to let them eat out of our hands. It was truly exciting and magical. Once in a lifetime adventure. I even posted a YouTube video about it @ aquicklooktravel if you want to check it out. I can't recommend this boat ride enough. We grabbed a 20ish minute uber ride from Panama City to the pier, it was super easy to get to. Bring sun block and some water. The ride was a couple of hours and great fun.

5.00We had an amazing time on the Panama Canal Jungle Boat Explorer Private Tour with Ivan as our guide. He was super knowledgeable about the canal and the rainforest, pointing out animals, including lots of monkeys! Ivan made sure we observed the wildlife respectfully. Cruising on Gatun Lake alongside huge ships was surreal, and Ivan’s stories about the canal’s history were fascinating. He was friendly, answered all our questions, and made the trip both fun and educational. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Ivan as your guide, for an unforgettable adventure in Panama! Note: Due to previous incidents where visitors fed the monkeys inappropriate food, such as Doritos, which made them sick, there’s now a strict no-feeding policy in place. While we were initially disappointed not to feed the monkeys, we understand and support this rule to protect their health and well-being.
