What To Expect
Miraflores Visitor Center
We head to the Miraflores Visitor Center where we will have the opportunity to see the 45-minute documentary about the Panama Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman at the Imax theater, we will know the history and operation of this important and imposing construction and see the transit of Panamax ships that pass through the locks of Miraflores. This time includes transfer to the Miraflores Locks.
From the Miraflores Locks we arrive at the Pedro Miguel Locks, this is the smallest lock built and very important as it levels the ships at the level of the snake cut which is the most dangerous and complicated part of the transit of the ships. Time includes transfer to the locks of Pedro Miguel.

5.00Firstly Gabriel sent a text the day before to confirm pick up time. He was on schedule and the tour began the second I sat in the car. We hit the Miraflores Locks saw two ships pass through, watched the IMAX film and he drove me in time to the Pedro Miguel Locks to see the same two ships go through then it was up to the American bridge. We got spectacular photos of the canal the ships the locks the impressive skyline. Gabriel was patient and kind even had water and fruit for me. He gave me a good history lesson of the Canal which was reinforced by the movie. All in all Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide! Thank you so much Gabriel
