Get ready for an immersive tasting menu as you get to experience the real Panama - from the gritty to the most Insta-gramable, and everything in between.

Our day starts in the historic Casco Viejo neighborhood at a trendy rooftop where everyone in the group will get to know each other. I’ll give you the quickest history lesson on Panama City and how it’s changed throughout its development before we start our adventure.

We will then walk a few blocks to one of the most luxurious hotels in the neighborhood to a fusion of Panamanian-Asian food .

From here, we are going to ride the underground metro to the city center to explore the laid-back Bella Vista neighborhood. While here, we’ll be eating at an old-school restaurant to try classic Panamanian food with a twist.

For our last stop, we are GOING UP to a rooftop bar for a mojito-making workshop where you’ll get to make your own cocktail while watching the sun go down over the city and try fresh ceviche.

What To Expect

Get ready for an immersive tasting menu as you get to experience the real Panama - from the gritty to the most Insta-gramable, and everything in between. Our day starts in the historic Casco Viejo neighborhood at a trendy rooftop where everyone in the group will get to know each other. We will then walk a few blocks to one of the most luxurious hotels in the neighborhood to try a couple fusion dishes of Panamanian cuisine with Asian cultures here. Next, we’ll head to Santa Ana, the most vibrant part of the city where locals still live. The we will take photos in front of colorful street art, and walk down Panama City's only pedestrian avenue to buy fresh ingredients for our mojito-making workshop later on. From here, we are going to ride the underground metro to the city center to explore the Bella Vista neighborhood. While here, we’ll be eating at an old-school restaurant to try classic Panamanian food with a twist. For our last stop, we are GOING UP to a rooftop bar for a mojito-making workshop where you’ll get to make your own cocktail while watching the sun go down over the city and try fresh ceviche.

My friend and I had the BEST experience walking around with Joey and our tour group! We saw, we ate, we drank, and had some surprises along the way! Great tour to see a few different sites throughout the different areas of Panama and learn about the cuisine and drinks too! HIGHLY recommend!!

I would recommend this over and over again. this was the funnest experience with the most beautiful view and ambiance. i have no regrets on taking this toir and i think about it often. Highly recommend !!!

Joey was an excellent host. We went shopping to buy fresh ingredients to make passion fruit mojitos. We walked in Santa Ana an enjoyed a beautiful sunset with Ceviche and Panamanian chocolates.

Great experience, great time. Our guide was very hospitable, patient and knowledgeable about the food and alcohol. The short walk of the city was a added bonus along with the ceviche. Definitely would recommend!

Joey is the best tour guide for Panama City you can imagine. Mojito and ceviche making was my first tour which I booked on my first day of arrival as a solo female traveler. Loved it so much that I booked his. Jungle city hike to Ancon hill and his extended city food walking tour as well. All tours have been highlights of my Panama Trip which I highly recommend not to be missed for the authentic true local panama experience. Gracias Joey !!

This was truly an amazing experience. Joey was not only flexible with the start time, but gave a thorough tour of the area. Best part was the mural we walked by and Joey was very knowledgeable about the area. Oh, and can’t forget about the amazing mojitos and cerviches!! I’d take this tour again and recommend if you’re ever in Panama City!
