Seeing the town of Trondheim by a 2 hour bus ride was a good way to be introduced to the city. We were able to find the meeting point with no difficulty as the directions were excellent. Our guide was late arriving since he could not find the meeting point which did not go well when checking in. Our first stop was on at a high location overlooking the city and our guide pointed out various places within the city and where we would be going. We then went to another higher location of an early fortification of the city. Our last stop was at the city cathedral then back to the starting point. Overall a good tour and there were issues with the PA system on the bus. It was not loud enough for us to hear towards the back of the bus and it would cutout as he was talking. The really bad part is that at our last stop at the city cathedral, he did not get back on the bus. He was nowhere to be found when we arrived back to the cruise port and did not tell us he was leaving. Recommend the tour and hope that you don't get a bus with a semi working PA system. Also, people who had issues walking had to go to the back of the bus because people without walking difficulties would get on the bus first and take up the front seats. Suggest that TripAdvisor consider having the bus company have "RESERVED SEATING" for the first several rows of the bus for people with walking issues or take measures for people to get on first. Unfortunately, those individuals with walking issues did not get off at any of the stops.

The site/app was easy to use and very informative. Arne our guide was fantastic and really made the tour come alive for us. The coach was brand new and the driver took great care on the roads. I would happily recommend Viator to anyone.

Fun but just too quick of a tour. Guide was super informative and fun! I just wish we had more time at the cathedral.

We were changed by the provider to a different tour than what we booked. It was a two hour bus plus a 1.5 hour walking tour instead of a 3 hour bus tour. The walking portion was good for the 1st hour, but the last 1/2 hour was just the walk back to the ship. I would have preferred the bus drop us off in the old town for exploration and then get us back to the ship.
