From the Tahiti Tourism visitor's bureau you will passed by the area around the Town Hall and Market place, where Christian grew up.
Then you will have have three choices for the itinerary, one will be the back of the city with religious schools and Street Art, the second will be in the center with Notre Dame Cathedral and The Taraho'i place (gouvernent area), or the sea front with the Port and the Pā'ofa'i garden.
What ever your choice this discovery will ending at the Tu Marama Place on the sea front near by two restaurants facing the bay and Mo'orea Island.

5.00Short 2 hr walking tour with Christian where he explained his culture and the history of Papeete. His knowledge was “ spot on” and he told all the good as well as the bad. It was quite hot but he did his best to keep us in the shade as often as possible.

5.00Excellent walking tour of the key areas of Papeete. Christian was a local Tahitian with a French degree in tourism. Very knowledgeable and understanding of the heat, humidity and my bad knee. We came away with a good knowledge of Tahiti, and French Polynesian history, geography and politics.
