Your itinerary is as follows:
9:00 am Pickup from your nearby hotel in Paracas.
9:20 am Visit the information center staffed by resident biologists at the Paracas National Reserve.
9:40 am Short hike to see flamingos.
10:00 am Drive to the magnificent rock formation known as the Cathedral.
10:45 am Travel along the coast to the highest mountain in the Paracas Peninsula (Isthmus of the Paracas Peninsula).
11:00 am Visit Red Beach for a photo stop.
11:20 am Finally, visit the Pink Lagoon, known for its pink color, caused by the presence of microorganisms and the high concentration of salt.
12:30 pm Return to the hotel. End of your excursion.

What To Expect
Paracas National Reserve
Paracas is the first Marine Reserve in Peru to include marine waters. This is due to its exceptional biological diversity, generated by the Humboldt Current and year-round coastal upwelling. The reserve also offers historical and cultural wonders, reflected in 114 registered archaeological sites, which bear witness to the fruitful interaction between the ancient inhabitants of Paracas and the sea.
Playa Roja
This beach is the result of volcanic activity after ancient eruptions hit the Pacific Ocean, which is why the type of clay with this color (between orange and reddish) was produced as a component of sand.

5.00Our tour in Paracas National Park was an absolutely wonderful experience and one we’ll remember for a long time. A big highlight of the day was our guide, Alberto, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area. He shared so much interesting information about Paracas, its history, and the unique landscapes, which made the whole tour much more meaningful and engaging. Alberto also helped us take some great photos along the way, making sure we captured the beauty of the park and some really special moments. What stood out the most, though, was how he went above and beyond for us—he was very flexible with our timing and even kindly dropped us off at the bus station after the tour, which made our travel plans so much easier. The whole experience felt very heartfelt and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the care and effort he put into making sure we had a great time. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with Alberto as your guide.

5.00This was a great tour. Our guide, Alberto, was very knowledgeable about the area and shared some fascinating information with us. Tour was the perfect length, pickup and drop-off was super convenient and we were lucky enough to see the flamingos! Highly recommend!
