What To Expect
Paragliding in the chicamocha canyon This flight is considered one of the best inductive paragliding flights in the world and the largest in South America, a magnificent view of the geography of Colombia. This flight lasts approximately 20 to 25 minutes, reaching a height of 500 to 2400 meters above the take-off if conditions permit, with a take-off slope of 900 meters above the Chicamocha river. This activity is scheduled from 9 am to noon based on weather conditions. The return to San Gil is around 1:30 pm. The flight point is on the Palo Blanco village in the municipality of Aratoca, one hour from San Gil and five minutes from PANACHI park. The Chicamocha canyon offers an excellent site for thermal flight, accompanied by the majesty of its landscape. 5.00It was fantastic!! Felt like a bird soaring above the canyon with beautiful views. A car picks you up from your hostel and gives you a beautiful drive through the mountains to your site as well. The instructor, Julian, was really nice, friendly and capable. And I lost my camera as well but they helped me find it immediately!! Best service and experience I've had, great experience and even better customer service. Cannot recommend it enough!!

5.00Well organized. They pick you up at your hostel and bring you back around 1-2pm. Take some sunscreen, hat, snacks and Water with you. Its hot up there. The pilots are very experienced. I felt very safe. Experience was awesome. 20-25min flight. You dont need longer. It was so worth it. Definitely highly recommended to do it here.

5.00This is a really great paragliding experience. It’s the first time me and my wife had ever done it and we had a great time. The instructors made us feel really secure and the operation was smooth. We paid for the additional video / photo service and we got some really nice stuff through as a memory of the experience. I’d highly recommend this experience.

5.00Feel like you're flying!!! Breathtaking views, with the option to do some adrenaline acrobatics if you're up for it! There was an English-speaking pilot (HUGO) which was greatly appreciated and helpful. Everything was organized and professional. Super duper experience for sure!

5.00A great experience! Hugo, our pilot was professional, extremely competent and safe. The company picked us up at the scheduled location on time and communicated well. We recommend the Go Pro pictures and videos. They came out really well and were inexpensive (about $12 per person) The scenery was breathtaking. We were literally flying with the birds !!!

5.00For a first experience, everything is in place to make it go as smoothly as possible. Laura comes to pick you up from whatever hotel you are staying in, she arrives with a smile from ear to ear, you know that afterward the rest of the adventure can only go well. For my part, I had never done paragliding, they put you in the best conditions by explaining to you how it will take place so that you have no fear. The instructors are very professional, during the entire flight, they listen to you and help you discover the beauties that reside in the Chicamocha Canyon, it is breathtaking. For such a price, it's worth it, don't deprive yourself of that ;)
