Line, our guide, made this a truly fantastic experience. Out of all the activities we did, this was our unanimous favorite- and that included the opinion of my two teenagers. You walk through the neighborhood stopping at multiple shops to get different kinds of food items while learning about the food, the process, and some About the shops you visit. The best part, of course, is you end in a “secret” place where you get to enjoy all the food- we were stuffed by the time all was said and done. We did the Montmarte tour and it was a great neighborhood to see while enjoying the food shops. The crepe we had was, by far, the best of many crepes we ate on the trip!

There was no walking tour. We ate cheese in a room. We have done 4 of these tours in other cities and loved them. This was by far the worst. Went to 1 restaurant and the rest said they were closed since it was Sunday. We had nothing but cheese and meat and two types of wine. The description said it had 10 stops. If the places are closed you shouldn’t have the tour.

AMAZING experience! On this tour of about 12-15 people (from all over the world), our guide Mathieu led us on a walking tour through the various shops of Montmartre - the charcuterie, the cheesemonger, the patisserie, and so on, collecting all the food we would need for our dinner. Along the way, we stopped to eat chocolates and macarons, as well as amazing crepes. We then took all the various foods back to what I can only describe as a 'party room' where we all sat around a table, and our guide told us about each thing we were going to eat (cheese from this region of France, or charcuterie from wherever) and passed it around for us to try, along with wines. It was like we went to a party with our 12 new besties - everyone was telling stories, laughing, sharing what foods we liked best, and so on. When I booked the trip, it struck me as a tad expensive, but having done it, it is a complete value - you more than get your money's worth. HIGHLY recommend!

We had done a Viator Food Tour in Dublin back in 2018, and expected something similar. Olivia instead surprised us as she led us to various food vendors to buy the makings of a meal, as well as stop at a restaurant for delicious Breton crepes. Eventually, we were in Olivia's private restaurant where she concocted quiche as well as appetizers, exceptional wine and desserts. She also thoroughly knows the history of France! An interesting evening and an entertaining one thanks entirely to Olivia.

Luz was amazing. I didn't expect to learn so much on a food tour! Your tour mates become like family by the end of the tour. It was a really beautiful experience and I am so thankful we got to experience it.
