A good sampler of the city, but you’ll need to go back to places if you want to buy things

4.00Our guide, Sacha/Sascha/Sasha, was good. Used humor well to tell stories and keep things very interesting. While we do go past a lot of different locations, some don’t necessarily get a full mention or shout out, so just know this is very much a sampler of all of the city. It was very helpful to do this tour on our first day to be shown how to use public transport and acclimate to French ways of doing things. There’s no opportunity to buy souvenirs you see along the way, so you need to come back on your own time. I almost think the tour could be improved by cutting 15 minutes off somewhere to give people some browsing time in Montmarte but I understand this would require a lot of co-ordination for the guide.

5.00This was a fantastic tour and great way to start our 6 days in Paris getting our bearings and using the metro. Juliana was a delight as a guide and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your Paris holiday. We were a small group which was a bonus and more intimate.
