Patan Durbar Square
At Patan Durbar Square, travelers will explore one of Nepal’s oldest and most artistically stunning royal palace complexes. Nestled in the heart of the ancient city of Lalitpur, the square is renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture, intricately carved windows, and centuries-old Hindu and Buddhist temples. Guided by a local expert, visitors will walk through vibrant courtyards, admire masterpieces like the Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), and the Taleju Temple, and learn about the rich cultural and religious heritage of the Malla era. Along the way, guests may also witness artisans at work in traditional metal and woodcraft workshops, giving a glimpse into Patan’s living history.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square
At Bhaktapur Durbar Square, travelers will step back in time as they explore the best-preserved medieval city in the Kathmandu Valley. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a living museum of Newari culture, where visitors will stroll through cobbled streets lined with centuries-old temples, palaces, and courtyards. Highlights include the iconic 55-Window Palace, the towering Nyatapola Temple, the intricately carved Vatsala Temple, and the vibrant Pottery Square, where local artisans shape clay by hand. I had a lovely day visiting Patan and Bhaktapur and the drives are scenic going through various parts of Kathmandu and was honoured to share the traditions and culture experiences with my guide Sajini and the local Nepalese people seeing lots of lovely architecture and temples / spiritual places which was nicer that it was during the festival weeks at this time. The guide took her time explaining everything in detail. The was some lovely shopping streets in Bhaktapur and art / pottery exhibits and lots of Street art in Patan. The driver Dipendra was very helpful pointing out things as we drove along of local interest in the city. Came with a nice packed lunch and generally specific information to the area and general tips and information for Nepal was given.

Ram was an excellent guide. He knew so much history, religion and he also knew the best silversmiths and thanka-painters. I can warmly recommend him of you come to Kathmandu!

Asmita was an amazing tour guide! Very communicative beforehand about what to expect, and great at sharing details of Bhaktapur during the tour. She was curious about me as well, and answered all of my random questions about different topics. As a solo female traveler, I was very excited and grateful to have a female guide. She is very knowledgeable and I only wish I could do another tour with her while I am in Nepal! You’ll be lucky to have Asmita as your guide and Amik as your driver!

Onze gids Hemant is a very nice guy and has a lot of knowledge about Bhaktapur and his history. During our tour there was a Newari ritual and he explained it so to us. We had an amazing time.

Ram went above and beyond to arrange a trip to Bhaktapur for myself and my girlfriend. We were delayed getting to Kathmandu and only contacted him the night before, but he was able to arrange a driver at the last minute, it was well organized, on time, and he was very communicative throughout. He clearly values customer service and cares about providing a great experience for visitors to Nepal!

The half-day trip to Bhaktapur was one of the highlights. I don't have to say anything about the large complex with all its beautiful buildings. A MUST when visiting Nepal. The excursion was perfectly organized with my local guides Sajina and Surdash who could explain and describe everything with their historical knowledge. In addition, they were willing to answer all my questions about life, culture and landscape over a cosy cup of tea. It was almost familiar. I was picked up directly from the hotel and brought back. The driver Biren proved his excellent driving skills by driving the car safely and without damage even in the narrowest alleys I would never have entered. Big compliments to everyone. An absolutely recommended excursion

I had a great trip to Bhaktapur - Ram was very friendly and knowledgable and I saw more of the city than if I’d visited by myself. Would definitely recommend if you’re planning to visit Bhaktapur.

NAMASTE!!! Its been a pleasure to have sightseeing with Ram. Honestly me and my sister is a bit scare when we have to do travel with stranger, but then we meet Ram, he's a nice and good person. He explained everything about the story behind of Swayambhu and Bhaktapur very well. He also willing to wait for us who love to take lots of picture around :) - Thanks Ram In Bhaktapur, we have lunch in restaurant name "GOLDEN EYES" they served us a very good food and we fallen love with their chicken wings - Bravo Ram for good choice. The transportation is clean, with AC and always stand by near to the front gate when we are back. Ram also willing to inform us if we like to have short trip around our hotel. How to do, how much is the taxi cost, where we can found good food around Katmandhu and so on. Hope we will be back to Nepal soon, as I started to missed the greeting "NAMASTE!!" Thank you Ram for doing good job!
