What To Expect

Multi-day hiking tours in Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro. The starting point for most of the guest would be Theth then continue to Valbona, Cerem, Doberdol, Milishefc, Reka Allages, Babino Polje, Plav, Vuthaj and other spots.

Adriatic arranged a selfguided tour for us and it was fantastic. He organised guesthouses, occasional transport and delivered gpx files which made it perfecly possible to have a great holiday and trek without the hassle of having to organize everything ourselves. Plus, thanks to Adriatic we visited sites we would never have found without his help.

Adriatik is a wonderful guide. I would highly suggest taking a tour with him! He will tell you the history of the area and make sure the trip goes smoothly. The peaks of the balkans are beautiful and I hope to come back and hike more.

Adriaitik put together an amazing trek for myself and 3 friends. He was always very flexible to change plans if need be and did make some changes happen due to unexpected weather. He is a very knowledgeable guide, with years of experience. I would highly recommend him to plan and guide your trip!!

Three friends and I did the Peaks of the Balkans with Adriatik as our guide. there were some last minute changes that he was able to arrange, took us on an amazing trip. Lots of laughs and great hiking, good food. Adriatik was the best and made everything go smoothly despite the weather. Such an incredible trip. I would highly recommend Adriatik .

I went on a 10 day hiking trip with tour guide Adriatki Gacaferi. We went on a different hiking path each day. It was one of the best hiking trips I have ever been on! The service was great, food was delicious, landscapes were beautiful, and everything else was perfect. Adriatki was truly the best tour guide ever, I suggest you all to go on this trip with him! Attached are some pictures of the beautiful trip. This trip had a variety of hiking trails all at different levels. I climbed Maja e Thate, one of the most attractive peak in Accursed Mountains (Albanian Alps) with Adriatik. We haved unforgettable experience, Adriatik is real professional, very friendly and carry about safety. Really can say just positive words. I will come back again, for sure! Thank you once more!

A friend and I hiked the Peaks of the Balkans trek 4 years ago and were lucky enough to have Adriatik as our guide. His company, Wilderness Balkans, was not in existence at the time but we spent much time encouraging him to be the leader of his own tour company. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and truly passionate about mountain culture, flora, fauna and history. He cares deeply about the wilderness and this is exactly the type of guide I want to be with when trekking. We were with Adriatik for 9 days and we always felt safe. The Accursed Mountains speak for themselves - they are incredible - and seeing them with a local who is in it for the passion and not just to make money off tourism, is a rare combination.
We compared the Accursed mountains with the Swiss alps the whole time!!

As advertised and detailed in the e-mail, the experience was just as awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable guide with great passion and understanding off it’s clients! Picked us up from the airport and headed to Shkoder, in an amazing medieval hotel/restaurant, got to know the guide, explain our itinerary and we head it off in the morning! Experience and some!!
