This is a private tour, our guide will go all the way respecting your pace, so you don't have to work hard to keep up with other people or wait for stragglers, avoiding this common situation when hiking mixed-group trails with different rhythms.
we will give you all the support you need to reach the peak of
the largest seaside monolith in the world.
Our team uses safety equipment for the most difficult sections, and to descend the "Carrasqueira", a 30 meter high stretch, we have climbing equipment, ropes, carabiners, ribbons, brakes and helmets to ensure the maximum safety possible.
It is recommended to take:
Sneakers; Light clothing (and bath); 3lt Water; Repellent; Sunscreen; Snacks.

Immerse yourself in the natural wonders of this renamed landscape while walking outdoors. from the meeting point, we will walk about 3km, to reach the top of pedra da gavea with its 844 meters, being 2.5km all the time in the shade of the forest. You will go with a montanhism personal guide to guarantee a fun and safe journey to mountain peak. Icon of Brazilian montanhism, the Pedra da Gávea is coveted by many travellers , who wanted to contemplate the west view of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The Pedra da Gávea delights its visitors, not just because of her beauty, but also because of her mysteries, like a rocky formation that resembles like a face and other enigmatic formations, like a Portal and inscriptions that attributed to the Phoenicians, these are only a few of the mysteries. Our hike includes Climb through Peak 4, and to get down crossing the stretch known as the "carrasqueira".

5.00We had such a great time with Sergio! He took us hiking/climbing the Sugarloaf mountain, Pedra da Gavea and finally the Morro Dois Irmaos. Being inexperienced in rock climbing, we worried a bit about that part, but he was super competent and helped us through all difficulties. We felt safe with him and it was an exhilarating experience to reach those peaks in Rio. The views are incredible. He was very knowledgeable about the topography of the city and its vicinity and also about the historical facts related to the place and country. Highly recommended!

5.00I can’t recommend this tour enough. Sergio was the perfect guide - he was able to tailor our adventure to my ability and preferences. I felt completely safe, I learned a lot, and I experienced *the best views* in all of Rio. To top it off, Sergio was the best pretend “Instagram boyfriend” a tourist could ask for - he took absolutely amazing photos from all the angles :)

5.00Me and my wife hiked to the top of Pedra da Gavea. Sergio was a wonderful host and helped us both feel safe through a few very steep and technical sections. He also gave us a wonderful history of the mountain, Rio, and Brazil and took wonderful photos for us. I would highly recommend adding this trip to your list of activities in Rio! We'll definitely do it again next time we're visiting :)
