What To Expect
This is a breakdown of the schedule : * A Historical Glimpse: Begin with a brief introduction to the fascinating history of perfume. (10 mins) * The Perfumer's World: Discover how a perfumer works, exploring their essential tools and materials directly from the host's lab desk. (10 mins) * Ingredient Exploration: Get hands-on experience smelling a diverse range of professional perfumery ingredients and understanding their profile (60 mins) * Building Accords & Formula Insights: Learn the fundamentals of creating perfume accords (rose, jasmine, strawberry, fougère, etc) and get a brief glimpse into the structure of real perfume formulas. (30 mins) * Team Creation & Your Take-Home Perfume: As a team, you will collaborate to decide on the olfactory direction and single formula for the session's creation. Each participant will then receive a 10ml bottle of this expertly blended team perfume to take home. (30-40 mins) Finish the workshop with a better grasp of perfumery and a bottle of the collaborative fragrance you created. Important: Upon booking, please arrive at the meeting fragrance-free. This is crucial for the optimal sensory experience during the workshop!

5.00It was a surprise to find such a unique activity in Groningen. The 3-hour long session was an entryway for people passionate about perfumes or people that are seeking for new experiences in the town. I fully enjoyed the session, starting with some historical background, leading to practicalities, meaning sorting out smells and, if you are lucky enough, to put together your own perfume;) The session is pleasantly intense, tho I wished it was even longer. Overall, great initiative for having this kind of events in our city, and Ananias is sooooo inspiring!!!

From the very beginning, it felt like stepping into a whole new world, with the fascinating historical background on perfumes and all the interesting facts we learned. My favorite part was when we were given different scents to smell and write down the notes we recognized; it felt like both a game and a learning process at the same time. And of course, creating our very own perfume at the end was the perfect highlight. I left with something personal that will always remind me of this experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different, creative, and truly inspiring!

5.00I have to admit that I'm very excited after the experience that Ananias has organized for us. It is very interesting, informative and interactive. We had fun while learning so many things about perfumes and their ingredients. Of course the highlight was the creation of our own perfume! The host is friendly and eager to explain everything.
