On this tour, you’ll also learn about the general glaciology of the region, as well as the formation of an ice bridge, a particular phenomenon that happens every few years in the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Children: Travelers MUST provide a copy/attachment of children passport if they are under 15 years old. All children must occupy a seat.
Infant seats: Available for children from 3 up to 5 years old when requested in advance, subject to availability.
Please bring: Warm clothing, waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable footwear and clothing. You can bring refreshments.
Inside the National Park there is a cafeteria where you can buy snacks or have lunch. Also, you can take your own box lunch.
You will be arriving back to El Calafate at approximately 5pm / 5:30pm.
Pick-up is provided at accommodations with a front desk. Otherwise, we will confirm the tour under meeting point.
The maximum capacity for the 'Safari boat ride' depends of the boat used on the tour date, which could be: 65, 115 or 160 people.

5.00Martin our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a very informative and most memorable trip. Looking at the glacier is like looking at a postcard. It’s a one of a kind experience and we are so lucky to have experience it.

4.00Great scenery! We booked the trip 4 months ahead. It turned out that the price charged charged by Viator did not include the admission to the national park. Two days before the trip, I received a WhatsApp message telling me to purchase park ticket online. The message provided a link which took me to the Spanish version of the park website. Since I don’t know Spanish, it took me an hour to get the words translated and to enter the various information required by the park such as names and passport numbers. Purchasing of the park ticket should’ve been done by the tour operator.

5.00Wow wow WOW!!! Worth every penny! We added the boat part of the tour and appreciated the different perspective it gave us. The trails along the glacier are spectacular! We loved having plenty of time to explore. So glad we did this tour and Guadalupe was amazing too!!! Highly recommend!
