Crossing the Patagonian steppe from north to south we will arrive at the Cancha Carrera border crossing (approximately 3.30 hrs), from where we will start touring the beautiful south of Chile.

What To Expect
El Calafate
Discover in a full day excursion Torres del Paine National Park (Chile), considered one of the eighth wonders of the world. Located in the heart of Southern Patagonia, 300 kms south of El Calafate, it is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the world for its curious and unique conformation of mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, flora and fauna. Onboard our OVERLAND 4X4 TRUCKS we will visit strategic points, from where we will undertake walks that allow us to access the panoramic viewpoints of the most important natural attractions of the Park. By default we do a walk of low technical difficulty and minimal physical demand. The walk is done in the company of our trekking guides authorized by CONAF - Chile.
El Calafate
The tour begins early in the morning from El Calafate -we use several support vehicles to ensure a quick start of the tour- to the international border. Chile the head vehicle finished the pick up we will head to the international border of Cancha Carrera - Cerro Castillo, taking the unpaved road called "The ShortCut" where we will arrive in at 10.30 am approximately. The guide will assist the travelers on the customs procedures. The reduced travel times are the result of the enormous benefits of using our latest generation 4x4 Overland Truck, which allows excellent performance on the asphalt (even by on top of conventional buses) and circulate on unpaved roads almost like on the asphalt.

5.00Luckily the weather cooperated with us. This was a nice tour to see Torres de Paine. The drive there was long but our guide Sylvestre was great at telling us what to expect and details about Patagonia. Our driver and guide were great at all the lookouts and helped with pictures etc. it was a very long day but the mountains were awesome and so was the waterfall. It was well worth visiting

5.00100x100 experience recommended. The journey is a little long from El Calafate but the route inside Torres del Paine Park more than makes up for this drawback. Silvestre Suarez, the guide, reports in detail everything we are encountering at the different stops of the tour. Postcard landscapes if the day accompanies, as has been our case. To the volants, Gustavo, an expert and reliable driver. Customs formalities to enter Chile can be a little slow, oblivious of the people at the time of crossing the border. Entrance to the parquet, 32,400 CLP. We were picked up at 06:30 am. And we'll be back at 9:30 p.m. Full box lunch included in the rate. An experience to remember.

4.00Our bus broke down and we had to wait two hours for the replacement. Despite that they still abided by the original program which was good. The main issue is that even despite the breakdown this program is very long. We left at 6:30AM and we're back at the hotel after 23:00. Our stops at TdP were great but we almost had to run through the stops..Would still recommend it though.

2.00We booked a full-day tour in Torres del Paine. We would pick up at the hotel at 6:30 in the morning and we would be back around 9:00. In the park the contractor was to make one trail for 2h and another for 1h. What happened: we were picked up late and we returned 1 hour earlier. We only stayed 1h30 in the park! A pity. We pay expensive and enjoy almost nothing. Quick parades to take pictures!
