  Ylva was a fabulous dive guide, who was very very patient with this nervous diver and my chill husband. She took us on some wonderful dives in which we felt happy, excited and looked after. We are older new divers and Ylva was very understanding of my nervousness and kept the dives safe and comfortable for us. Our dives with her gave me a lot of confidence and excitement for future dives. Can’t wait to visit Curacao again and dive with Ylva and Soul Diving!!! Thank you, Ylva!!

  We booked the dives online in advance. The transfer from the hotel to the boat went smoothly. Our dive instructor was very helpful and friendly, we could also chat easily in German. Wonderful underwater world with intact corals and numerous fish. We really enjoyed the dive trip with two dives and as newcomers to diving we always felt safe and in good hands.   I had an amazing scuba diving experience with Soul Divers. Sytse and Ylva communicated with me very well. They kept me informed at every stage, answered my numerous questions thoroughly and made sure I was well prepared (they asked my. measurements as I needed some gear) to have a fantastic diving experience. Once in Curacao, they picked me up at my hotel on time, if not earlier with a great vibe and smile. Their rental gear are of very good quality, which provided even more confidence. The first day, we planned on 2 shore dives, which allowed me to explore some very nice locations. The second day was on a boat, which allowed me to meet more people from different other diving centers/shops. Never did I feel left aside as they tried to include me in the different conversations as well as trying to know me more. I felt more than just a customer. Regarding the dives on their own, the guided dives were beautiful. We were able to see some moray eels, eagle ray, turtle, beautiful corals and got lucky on the dive boat to see some reef sharks. During the surface time between dives, they provided some snacks and some drinks to refuel, which was very welcome. Definitely a wonderful experience and atmosphere and I hope to come back to Curacao next year and dive with Soul Divers again.

  Easy whatsapp communication, pick up at hotel on time. Sytse explained specials about the dive sites, change of plans (site) due to many school kids sailing during holiday season. We would not be able to easily access the water. Dives were wonderful, relaxed, nice fish, good dive equipment. Hope to be back soon, will then do the boat dives.

  Ylva with Soul Divers treated us with white glove service. Picking us up from Lions Dive and dropping us back off at the end of the day. She made sure all our equipment was loaded on the boat and we had all our gear. She lead two dives and was a wonderful experience diving Eastpoint seeing schools of baracuda, huge turtles and a Manta ray was a kicker. Highly recommend Soul Divers for your next dive experience

  In March 2025 I did a couple of shore dives with Soul Divers. It was supposed to be a boat dive, but it ended up being a guided dive by the owner of the company since I was the only person going. He picked me up at the cruise port, and brought me back afterwards. The two shore dives that I did had reefs that still looked colorful and full of life, while the water was clear and warm. It was a couple of the best dives I've had in the last few years. Sytse (rhymes with pizza) led the dives and described in good detail what we expected to see. He explained that we wouldn't go deep unless we saw something interesting as there was plenty to see at 40 feet. Because of the shallow depth, of the two dives we did, the short dive was 60 minutes! I certainly got my money's worth! Before, in between and after the dives we chatted about various things and it was an interesting and friendly conversation. He asked what my group was doing for dinner, and he not only recommended a couple of restaurants but drove me by them while on the way back to the cruise port. It seems as if he not only wanted us to enjoy our time there but support all of the local economy, not just his little slice of it. I had two great dives and I cannot recommend Soul Divers enough. I dove the sites Marie Pampoen and Director's Bay.

• Soul Divers: Best Scuba Diving in Curaçao!

  We did a total of four scuba dives with Soul Divers over two days. Captain Gilbert and Dive Master Sytse were so professional and safety conscious. They have a really nice boat and new equipment. The Captain knew great dive sites and they had a wonderful prepared lunch for us between dives. The Dive Master was so careful to make sure we were always safe. We were so fortunate to have found Soul Divers for our family scuba dive vacation in Curaçao. What a great company with wonderful people. You can’t go wrong with Soul Divers! We will be back again.

  I was very reluctant to book an excursion outside the cruise line. The cruise line did not have many dive options. I was pleased at how easy it was to book thru Victor. I was able to contact the dive company, Soul Divers, directly. They were very prompt and courteous. Pickup at the terminal was painless. My wife and I laughed as we walked past the lines of passengers waiting like herded cattle. Unfortunately we have found ourselves in those lines way too many times. Our dive master, Styse, was there waiting for you early. Which is a first. He’s from the Netherlands. We found him to be a great guide and dive master. He was very accommodating to our needs, very laid back and easy going. We took us on two wonderful, stress free and great dives. The coral and wildlife was great. We was always considerate to ensuring my wife and I have a wonderful and relaxed dive. We were able to dive to around 60’ each time. We came shallow and continued to stay shallow and drift beautiful coral gardens. After we decided we were done and wanted to head back he drove us back to the ship terminal. If you ever find yourself in Curaçao, especially if you are a cruise ship diver, and are looking for a truly private dive I highly recommend Soul Divers. When we come back they will be our first call.
