Dominica is the only country in the world where the sperm whale resides all year long. Just a short boat ride brings you into contact with the world's largest toothed animal in the calm turquoise Caribbean Sea.
Whale watching operators follow strict codes of conduct, minimizing any disturbance, and never “luring” the whales. On the rare occasion when the whales may be elusive, you’re sure to see the acrobatics of hundreds of Spotted and Spinner Dolphins. Also Humpbacks Whales,Pilot Whales and other whales have been seen during our Cruises.

Departures: Daily at 9.30am and 1.30pm We also speak German and are back at your Cruiseship on time.
Our Boat
With our 24ft open keel boat, 2x 60Hp 4 stroke silent engines, we can come close to the whales without disturbing them. Our boat is designed for small groups and families with a max of 8 guests.

What To Expect
Join us on our brand new Boat from PH Whale Watch Dominica and watch the Sperm whales and Dolphins. A local Guide will give you all information. It gives you also a great view of the island when going north with our boat. This is a Government Approved Tour (safe in Nature), so you are also able to do this tour when you come in by Cruise Ship. We only pick up from the cruise ships in Roseau. All other guests we meet at the meeting Pont, the ferry Terminal in Roseau. We do not pickup from hotels or any other locations! Its only whale Watching. Its not allowed to swim with the whales.

5.00Incredible time, we got super lucky saw many whales. It was a great experience and we would totally recommend it to anyone going to Dominica. Got a little wet on the way back because we had to boat through the rain, but that’s all part of the experience

5.00The crew on this boat kept contact with other boats to locate animals. They could not find the larger whales, so we went north to find the melon-heads - smaller dolphins and saw several small groups swimming. A fine day on the water and we discovered something new...

5.00This was a great small craft, intimate experience. I appreciated the knowledge and skill of the boat captain and guide. There was good communication with other small boats to share the location of the whales, which we saw up close and personal! also many dolphins. A great outing!!!

5.00We arrived at the ferry port and were greeted by friendly staff, who were engaging and professional. All aboard the boat, which was clean and in fabulous condition with a shade canopy, comfortable seating and provided with life jackets and a short safety briefing. We were incredibly fortunate to see 3 sperm whales an absolute highlight of our trip to Domica. The crew were fabulous and the whole experience an absolutely joy! As an added bonus we went to PH Whale watching on Champagne beach in the afternoon and had free access to a deck chair as we'd been on the morning cruise!
We did not see anything still a great time! Brittany was very nice!

2.00No whales, no dolphins, not even a fish. At the end of a whalewatching trip, the result counts, even if it is not guaranteed. The probe was held in the water at three points. After that abandoned, about an hour return without retry. Instead of through the deep water, a panoramic cruise along the coast. After 2.5 hours it was over, while the ship was circumnavigated again to buy some time. Friendly crew with water and rum punch included.

4.00They were a little late but once they arrived they were so kind and accommodating. We did not see any whales unfortunately but we were able to spot multiple melon head dolphins. Provided drinks, very pleasant
Great trip would highly recomend! Rum punch wasn’t too bad either!

1.00We weren't picked up at the meeting point. After we went to the ferry terminal, the boat left without us. After contact with the service staff we were told despite confirmed ticket that there was no booking - not recommended.
