The James Bond Island is perhaps one of the most famous sights in Southern Thailand. Ever since Roger Moore filmed on the island in the early 1970s, tourists have flocked to witness first-hand impressive rock formations and to re-live some of their favorite scenes amongst the beautiful back drop of Phang Nga Bay.
- Leave from your hotel in a comfortable minibus and take a scenic drive into Phang Nga valley.
- Visit one of the most famous cave temples in Phang Nga.
- Leave Phang Nga town with a traditional longtail boat and out through one of the largest native mangrove forests in Thailand.
- Cruise through the caves and beautiful limestone mountains that make up Phang Nga Bay.
- Stop for a walk and a swim at the famous James Bond Island.
- Take a stroll around the stilted fishing village and enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the bay.
- Cruise back to the pier as the sun sets over the bay and return to your hotel.

What To Expect
Wat Suwan Kuha - Cave Temple
This ancient cave temple is home to a giant golden reclining Buddha. We stop here for a look around before heading to the pier. The cave and temple grounds are also home to several wild monkeys.

5.00Beautiful dry hot sunny day spent on this tour late May 24. Our guide Garfield was great. He was very polite and a joy to spend the day with. He showed up on time and explained how the day would play out. We really enjoyed being out on the water on the Longtail boat. The scenery was fabulous. The village we visited was very poor but the people were nice and lunch was good.

5.00Well-organised trip which avoids the crowds and allows for a relaxed start to the day. Mhan was an excellent guide and gave us just the right amount of information at the right time, without ever sounding scripted. Nice cruise through the mangroves and Phang Nga bay. Tasty dinner. Just note that the sunset doesn't actually happen while on the water, we were nearly home by then.

4.00The long tail boat ride was great across the waters We visited James Bond Island 24 years ago and a much better experience The Government has made many changes the views are diapointing You use to walk through the rocksand be struck by how awesomethe view was looking at rising rock formations acroos the water Now you have to climb steep concrete steps and are surrounded by local vendors and a limited view of the one rock synomous with James Bond Disapointing Too touristy Lunch on the floating island was amazing

5.00This was an outstanding trip. Man, our guide was amazing and looked after us very well. With a small group it was very calm and enjoyable experience. Awesome places with great views, well timed sunset and not many people on James Bond Island, and we were the only ones dining at the fishing village. As it was our honeymoon, we received an unexpected bouquet of flowers and Man made sure we have some romantic photos. We highly recommend this experience and if you get Man as your guide you will be in for a treat.
