Along the way, you'll unravel salacious true stories of Prohibition: ruthless bootleggers, Whiskey distillers, mobsters, the Louisville origins of the Great Gatsby, and even an axe-wielding temperance supporter. You'll also hear chilling ghost stories that have left their mark on the city's checkered past.
Our expert guides will transport you to the days of secret bars and underground revelry in Prohibition-era downtown Louisville. One part ghost tour, one part Jazz-Age cocktail tour, this 3-hour immersive experience combines dinner and cocktails with spine-tingling ghost stories and a host of colorful characters from Louisville's bootlegging past. You'll leave with a taste of history- and perhaps a shiver down your spine.

You'll begin your tour with a cocktail at a speakeasy hidden underneath Whiskey Row as we go back in time to the Prohibition era.
Old Forester Distilling
We will pass by Old Forester Distillery on Whiskey Row and learn about the ghosts that haunt this historic block, while stopping at a pub next door for bites and a bourbon cocktail.

4.00The places we went were nice. The cocktails were not all bourbon drinks and they should have been. Only one cocktail was made with bourbon. I did not feel like this was a good value. I’ve had better guided walking tours. Some interesting stories, but not super entertaining .

5.00Allison was amazing! Such a fun tour learning more about prohibition than I ever knew plus adding in some supernatural stories. Food was delicious and I liked how the drinks were picked out for us based on where we were during the prohibition story and new drinks that I wouldn’t have picked for myself, plus mocktails that were also delicious without missing out on the fun! Definitely the highlight of our trip. We didn’t see any of the stops on searches so we definitely would’ve missed out on spots that were a vibe and that had history. Plus she took photos for us so we could just enjoy the experience - such a nice extra.

5.00Christina was an excellent tour leader. She made the tour interesting and knowledgeable. She was friendly took lots of pictures. And the drinks were phenomenal. My favorite place to go was the Speakeasy hell and high water.
