What To Expect
This short private charter snorkeling trip by speedboat in 4-5 hours to explore Coral Mountain/Shallow Reef and Half-moon Reef or Northeast Coral Reef in South Phu Quoc island in the Morning or Afternoon (subject to the water conditions tracking by OnBird) is another touristy-avoiding trip designed for those who don't have much time on your island to remove unnecessary places from the snorkeling trip. The private charter is suitable for those who are keen on snorkeling and free-diving and doesn't want to spend time at touristy and crowded places but just on the exploration of the Phu Quoc's under world.

Snoprkeling for corals is an important (and ugent) experience

5.00Great experience overall: despite an initial misunderstanding, the excursion was fully satisfying, also thanks to the competence of the very young guides, Tony and his friends. It's one of the most interesting things you can doi in Phu Quoc and since unfortunately these might be the last chances to see corals before their bleaching due to the climate crisis, I urge you to have this experience.

5.00Highly suggest booking the private option vs. the group option. The private tour is priceless! Our snorkeling guide, John, is hands down the best guide we have ever had on a snorkeling trip. John is super nice, very knowledgeable, and has some great jokes to share along the way. John is a true asset to On Bird and made our experience amazing start to finish. He showed us all types of fish and coral we likely would not have found without his guidance. Cannot say enough good things about On Bird and our guide John, we will never forget our experience!

5.00Everything super perfect! From directions to prepare the necessary via whatsapp the day before; they picked us up from our hotel and explained everything in perfect and understandable English (even for those who do not speak good English like us ..). The experience was perfectly prepared with respect to our abilities, they all provided us with excellent equipment, accompanied step by step and at the last of the islands we had time to relax on a beach full of corals with fresh mangoes and juices offered. The staff is really prepared, kind and helpful. We were 3 Italian guys, two English guys and two from Hong Kong and at sea we all felt close in an extraordinary and unique experience, with attention to ecological and environmental aspects explained and respected in detail. Really recommended, an experience far from other commercial and tourist proposals.

5.00We had a great time with OnBird! We had a private tour for just the two of us, and our guide took us to 2 different snorkel spots, and a beach at the end of the tour. OnBird is very professional and takes care to make sure we are safe in the water, and go out in the best conditions. Their spots are more secluded than other tour companies and the coral and sea life is really beautiful. We've done a lot of snorkeling around southeast Asia, and the coral we saw here was some of the best! Definitely recommend everyone in Phu Quoc to do this tour!

We especially loved his heart for the ocean- collecting trash and showing us how to safely appreciate the reef. 5.00The tour with Onbird was just absolutely great! After a short but professional briefing we went to a first coral reef, which already fascinated us. Then the second spot - just really breathtaking corals. We really appreciated the open and transparent communication, originally we wanted to go on another day but they said that on the day we finally went there will be a better view - so it was. Also, we always took the speedboat directly to the spots where the corals were and we really saw a lot. In summary, you are dealing with a very professional team, with pretty high quality equipment. Alex and Qui were professional, likeable and it was just fun with them. Although the sun wasn't shining, it was one of the best days on Phu Quoc! Thanks for that guys !
