Great food tour with a real “foodie” who is so knowledgeable of Thai food and its many cultural and historical influences. Definitely come hungry because there is lots and lots of food to indulge—with the focus on authentic local foods. My most favorite is the to-die-for Torry’s coconut ice cream with the cutest souvenir pan to take home!!! This tour would have been even more perfect if there was a stop at a farmers fruit market.

A 10/10 experience! Jane was an amazing guide who showed us the best of Phuket's hidden gems. She did a fantastic job of explaining local history and how it connects to the food we were eating. The Hokkien spring rolls were the absolute highlight—easily the best I've ever had. It was an incredible value for the price with so much food provided. This tour is a must-do and I definitely recommend it!"

Booked for Christmas Day a wonderful activity to do while solo. Khun Jane was a wonderful tour host. I have lived on Phuket for a year so it was really interesting to get a locals perspective on the Old Town and history and origins of Phuket. The place makes a lot more sense to me now. Food stops were all excellent! Totally recommend good value 1/2 day.

This was a fantastic food tour and one of the highlights of our stay. The tour started at the wet market in Phuket Old Town, which was a great introduction to local ingredients and everyday food culture. From there, we visited several restaurants and food spots around town, sampling a wide variety of authentic, local, and very fresh dishes with influences from Chinese, Myanmar, Malay, and Thai cuisines. Everything was well paced and never felt rushed. These are places and dishes we simply would not have found on our own, and even if we had, we wouldn’t have known what to order or how to order at some locations. We also learned a lot about Old Town sights and history along the way. Jane was an excellent guide, clearly passionate about food, flavors, and local traditions, and she made the whole experience feel genuine and thoughtfully curated. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience real local cuisine.

The tour with Jane was excellent and far exceeded expectations. Not only did we try 15+ incredible dishes from different types of cuisines found in Thailand, we also learned the history of each of those dishes and how they came to be incorporated in Thai food. Jane communicates very well and answered all of our questions whether they related to food, living in Thailand, random Thai history, or a range of other topics. We spent an appropriate amount of time at each location and even stopped by a museum in the middle which gave us time to digest. We also appreciated that she chose local restaurants and helped give back to the community a bit. Overall a highlight of our time in Phuket and a great way to get acquainted with old town. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

We really enjoyed Jane’s tour – it was a very unique experience. Beyond the delicious and authentic food, the tour includes explanations about the history of Phuket and visits to several stops in addition to local restaurants. Jane explained and demonstrated the culture of Phuket and Thailand in the best possible way. We had a great connection with Jane, enjoyed her jokes, and she made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the tour. She also made sure to take photos of us and happily answered every question we had. Highly recommended!

The Phuket food tour and city walk with jane was an excellent way to sample all the different food cultures that come together in the Phuket old town area. I had the pleasure of being the only guest on todays tour so enjoyed a brilliant one on one experience. The tour included five different eating experiences from mild to spicy, including desert and ice cream to finish. If you fasted for a week you would still not be able to eat everything, but don’t worry as it is a whole tasting experience, not a marathon eating session. The tour included stop offs at some historic buildings in the old town, where it was obvious that janes knowledge extended well beyond just food, also the history of each eating stop An excellent time spent in a relaxed atmosphere rather than a regimented tour, thank you again Khop khan krap

What an amazing experience - from walking through the local market, learning about the wide range of fresh produce Thailand has, to cooking some of the most delicious meals I've tasted (no bias here at all). Jane and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating - ensuring they also took the time to have a laugh with us all!

This was so fun! Jane was great and made everything so simple. The market tour was cool to see, too. And you get a chance to buy some stuff from the market. Everyone was so nice. I can’t wait to recreate these dishes at home.
