The tutored tasting of our core range of gins will be punctuated by a refreshing historical cocktail. Your tour will wrap up with a perfectly poured Gin&T at the Royal Dick Pub.

What To Expect
Summerhall Distillery /pickering's Gin
Embark on a Gin Distillery tour at Summerhall in the old Vet College of the University where you will discover how we craft our small-batch gins, followed by a tutored tasting of our 4 core range surrounded by our stills, Emily and Gertrude. You will conclude the experience with the waxing of your own miniature 5cl bottle of gin to take home.

5.00We can’t remember the woman’s name, apologies, however the American woman was such a lovely and informative person and would highly recommend this to anyone, she made us feel very welcome and was lovely to talk to. This is definitely a great activity for couples and would highly recommend. I would definitely come back.

5.00I took my cousin here for a belated birthday gift. It was a great couple of hours. We both enjoyed learning about the gin making processes and our hostess Alyssa was warm and welcoming. The cocktails we made were lovely and both enjoyed the cheese pairing. Would recommend.

5.00Fantastic and Flavourful!! Tasty and educational!! I really enjoyed both sides of this tour with our lovely host, Marina. Great insight and brilliant humour into the gin world. 1st half was tour and history, access most areas, second half was a very intimate tasting. I didn't like gin before...
