Insanely over priced. Use an uber instead!

2.00This cost nearly $600 USD for two people! An Uber to Samobor from Zagreb only costs €40-50 euro each way. It was snowing, which wasn’t ideal. So we couldn’t visit the castle ruins. Cake was tasty. Guide was friendly and informative. However, even if the weather was nice I cannot see how $300 USD is justified in the cost. Should’ve included lunch and wine for that price point as well as a comfortable big car. We were in a small taxi. You can do the same trip with Uber, buy your own cake, and google the history of Croatia for a 1/2 of the price. Do not recommend - save your money. Maybe worth it for $100 usd/person but certainly NOT $300/person.

Was interesting to hear about the history of the castle and the walk through the town was enjoyable. Coffee and cake was yummy. Thanks a million for the great guy you sent our way

5.00We had a great tour to Samobor. Our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly and could answer all my husband's many questions about life past and present in Croatia. We enjoyed seeing the castle ruins and then walking down into the town. He made everything interesting. We had a delicious local cake and coffee in a charming hotel. It was nice to see a more rural town than Zagreb and to leave the city behind for a while. Very good tour and great guide.

5.00We decided to take the trip to Samobor with Servus Tours & we are very happy with our decision. We started our Tour punctual & arrived very soon in Samobor. Our guide Bojan has a huge knowledge of Croatia, Samobor & the history. He answered all our questions & it was good fun to do the tour with him. Samobor is a cozy town & we enjoyed the famous cake there. We can really recommend taking this tour, it was worth every cent!

5.00Our second tour with Dejan of Servus Tours took us to this out of the way town, as yet unaffected by the explosion of tourism in Croatia. Samobar is a beautiful, scenic, and authentically local town that sits in the shadow of Castle Samobar, which is in ruins and is rarely visited. You enter the castle walls via a short steep trail and are swept away by the setting and the history of the evil queen that once reigned there. So remote that there isn't even an entry fee, we were there an hour and say not another soul. From there we went into the town for a traditional samobar breakfast (yummy!) and back to Zagreb by noon.

5.00This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Dan is a very good guide he provides a lot of information about the area and the history of the town. It is a good hike to get up to the castle on a dirt trail but it is well worth the effort. The town itself is very quaint and a nice public square with several restaurants and a farmers market. The cake that they make is fantastic nothing like I have ever eaten before.
